Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to London King. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
London, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I always say The Fabulous Factory didn’t start as a business plan, it started as a feeling. Ever since I was a little girl in St. Louis, I’ve been the one planning the parties, decorating the space, and making sure everyone was having a good time. I loved seeing people light up when they walked into a room I had styled. Even back then, I knew I wasn’t just hosting an event, I was creating an experience.
As I got older, that love only grew. I noticed people didn’t just show up for the food or the occasion, they came for the energy, the details, and the magic that made them feel special. When I moved to Atlanta, it felt like God gave me a fresh canvas to paint on. I saw a huge opportunity to merge my love for design, hospitality, and storytelling into something bigger.
I also noticed a gap in the market. So many short-term rentals and hospitality spaces looked nice, but they didn’t have a soul. They didn’t tell a story or create a real emotional connection. That’s where my passion for brand experiences and guest psychology came in. I wanted to design spaces and moments that didn’t just look beautiful but made people feel valued and unforgettable.
In today’s world, experiences are currency. If you can give someone a stay or an event they will talk about for years, you’ve won their heart and their loyalty. That’s what The Fabulous Factory is built on. I’m not just in the business of hosting or decorating, I’m in the business of creating memories that feel like magic and last a lifetime.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m London King, and if you’ve never heard of me before, just know this — I live and breathe creating unforgettable experiences. I’m the CEO and creative force behind The Fabulous Factory, a luxury hospitality brand known for bold design, immersive themed stays, and events that people can’t stop talking about. I’m also the founder of Mimosas & Business, a sold-out women’s empowerment experience, and the creator of Girls Night University, a 21+ card game that’s all about connection and fun.
My love for this work started young, back in St. Louis, where I was always the one hosting gatherings, styling spaces, and making sure people felt special. When I moved to Atlanta, I saw the perfect opportunity to merge my passions for design, hospitality, and storytelling into something bigger. I also noticed a gap in the market. Many spaces were beautiful but lacked a soul. They didn’t tell a story or connect emotionally with the people in them. That is where I knew I could make a difference. We actually ended up going viral when we started taking everyone on the journey with us on Instagram and we started attracting influencers.
At The Fabulous Factory, we specialize in luxury hospitality consulting, guest experience design, brand activations, influencer trips, and high-end event curation. I am passionate about blending brand strategy with guest psychology, so every detail from the scent in the air to the way a space is lit is intentional. We are not just creating a look, we are creating a feeling that people carry with them.
The problems we solve are simple but powerful. We help brands and individuals stand out, create lasting impressions, and turn ordinary interactions into extraordinary memories. Our clients trust us because we make their vision bigger, bolder, and more impactful than they imagined, and we make sure it feels effortless for them.
What sets me apart is that I bring femininity, fire, and faith into every project. I am not afraid to mix luxury with personality or strategy with heart. I have built a brand that is high-end without being cold, and that balance is what keeps clients and guests coming back.
I am most proud of the fact that my work does not just serve my clients, it impacts the community. Through The Fabulous Factory Foundation, we give back every month. Through my women’s empowerment platforms, I have helped women find clarity, build their brands, and step into the lives God has called them to live.
What I want people to know about me and my brand is this: when you work with The Fabulous Factory, you are not just booking a service. You are entering a world where every detail is designed with purpose, where experiences are meant to be remembered, and where the wow factor is guaranteed.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What really helped me build my reputation in the market was never treating hospitality like a checklist. For me, every guest is an opportunity to create a memory they’ll talk about long after they leave. We made it our standard to go above and beyond, not just to meet expectations but to exceed them in ways people didn’t see coming.
If it was someone’s birthday, they didn’t just get a “Happy Birthday” at check-in — they walked into balloons, gifts, and a setup that made them feel like the day was curated just for them. We’ve surprised guests with welcome baskets filled with their favorite treats, hand-written notes, and thoughtful touches that made them feel truly seen.
We also celebrated our guests publicly by reposting their recaps, tagging them, and letting them know their experience mattered to us as much as it did to them. That personal connection created loyalty and trust, and it showed in the results. We consistently earned five stars across the board, not because we asked for it, but because people genuinely felt they had been treated with care, intention, and a little bit of Fabulous Factory magic.
That commitment to making people feel special like they were the most important guest we had is what made us stand out. It turned guests into ambassadors for our brand and built a reputation that was grounded in both excellence and heart and this is how you make people really feel seen, when you aren’t acting big time and making them feel very special.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A big lesson I had to unlearn was thinking I had to control every single detail of my life. For years, I thought that if I worked harder, planned more, or pushed just a little longer, I could make things happen on my timeline. But life has a way of showing you that your plans are nothing compared to God’s perfect timing.
That reality hit me hard when I lost my son, my property, and other material things that I thought defined my stability. In that season, I felt like the rug had been pulled from under me, and “winging it” was no longer an option. I had to stop relying on my own understanding and start truly letting God lead praying first, making space for His guidance, and grounding myself in His word daily.
I began creating intentional routines that didn’t just keep me busy but transformed my results. I traded the chaos of trying to control everything for the peace of trusting that if God brought me to it, He’d bring me through it. And in the process, I realized something powerful surrender isn’t losing, it’s winning in the right way. I really thought I was untouchable and God showed me otherwise and I am happy he did because it all worked out for my greater good.
