Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vincent Keele. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Vincent , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Art has always been in my life from a young age. Besides the pure love of Art and it feeling like a part of my soul. Over the years I’ve watched things and people wash away and one of my paintings I created many years ago was sitting on the wall just as beautiful as the day I created it and it dawned on me. There was my chance to leave my mark. The sheer idea of being an artist is a challenge in itself. There’s so much you need to know and learn, you wear a lot of hats. Because there’s so many things to do, self management becomes a crucial skill. I have taken it upon myself as a personal challenge to be a great artist. Not only to improve my skills as an artist but also embrace the business of art and the mentorship of others that are lacking in the confidence, skills or will to keep going. Being an artist is the greatest thing I’ve ever could have embraced. I am art and art is me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
As a second-generation, multidisciplinary artist, I’m passionate about creating art that resonates on a deeper level. Living and working in Washington State, I immerse myself in the process of bringing vibrant, bold, and rhythmic abstract and figurative works to life. My art, which has been recognized internationally and graces homes, businesses, public spaces, and collections worldwide, is more than just paint on canvas—it’s a conversation.
My work explores the interplay of movement, energy, and luminous light. I strive to capture forgotten stories and evoke a sense of remarkable abstract movement, breathing life back into special people and places that have been lost to time, overwritten, or simply forgotten. This act of remembering is vital; it’s how we keep our history alive and ignite curiosity in others.
I believe art has the power to connect us all. My paintings aren’t just about visual beauty; they’re about fostering meaningful dialogues. I use bold, colorful, and flowing lines, blending expressionism and abstraction, to invite viewers on a journey of discovery with each piece. The colors I choose often connect with the chakras, adding another layer of depth and intention to my work. My narratives seek to remind and educate, offering a respite from the stresses of daily life through vibrant and meaningful imagery.
My artistic process is driven by cognitive thinking. I want my art to awaken thought, channel creative energy, and push the boundaries of universal understanding. The conversations that arise from my work provide non-invasive avenues for exploring various aspects of the subject matter, promoting social consciousness and awareness. Ultimately, my goal is to touch viewers’ souls, sparking connections through thoughts, emotions, and expressions. Art, for me, has always been more than a passion—it’s a way to connect, to remember, and to inspire.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Before the pandemic, my artistic career was built on a foundation of in-person engagement. I spent a lot of time at art fairs and gallery shows, and while I loved connecting with people face-to-face, I was already starting to feel that transitioning to an online presence would be a better use of my time and a way to gain wider exposure.
When COVID hit, it gave me the final push I needed to fully commit to moving my business online. The idea was simple: to expose my art to a much bigger, international audience. This pivot was a risk, but it was also a natural evolution for my work and my goals.
The results have been incredibly rewarding. This shift has led to more opportunities than I could have imagined, including collaborations with international art fairs, galleries, and news media. It has proven to me that success in this business requires more than just talent; it demands a fast-paced, adaptable mindset. You must be comfortable pivoting at a moment’s notice while staying true to your core goals.
Ultimately, this experience reinforced a crucial lesson: while the platforms and methods of sharing my work may change, my focus never wavers from my central purpose of creating my pictorial legacy.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Drawing from my background in both the corporate world and as a business owner, I’ve developed extensive experience working one-on-one with people. If I had to pinpoint one thing that has built my reputation over time, it would be my genuine ambition to not only place art in people’s homes but also to educate them on the forgotten stories and people behind my work. Most importantly, I have a pure interest in getting to know them and their families.
Many people are familiar with my personal journey and my desire to build a pictorial legacy for my family. I’ve found that inviting others to join me on this journey has created a unique and meaningful connection that goes beyond a simple transaction.
