We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Young Entertainment a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Young, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The podcast, hands down. It’s been such a labor of love, and seeing how far we’ve come is
incredibly rewarding. We’ve had the chance to talk to so many talented people, from breakout
stars to seasoned creators, and every conversation adds something new. I think what makes it
meaningful is knowing that we’re creating a space that celebrates creativity, especially within the
young adult genre, while also giving talent a platform to be real, vulnerable, and seen. It’s more
than just entertainment—it’s about building connection.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started this because I saw a gap. There’s so much young adult content—TV, film, books,
music—but no one was curating it all in one place, especially through a voice that feels both
knowledgeable and relatable. So I decided to fill that space.
The Young Entertainment Podcast is where we bring those stories to life. We spotlight talent,
talk through the biggest fandom debates (yes, we’re still asking if you’re Team Conrad or Team
Jeremiah), and get real about what it’s like to be in the industry today. Whether you’re listening
on Spotify or Apple Podcasts or watching on YouTube, our goal is to make you feel like you’re
part of the group chat.
What sets us apart is our tone—it’s fun, it’s smart, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. We
want listeners to feel like they’re hanging out with their best friends talking about their favorite
shows and stars. And we want creators to feel celebrated.
We’re most proud of the incredible guests we’ve been able to bring on and the fact that we’ve
created something that genuinely resonates with our audience.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes—community. I want to build a space where young people can escape, have fun, and also
feel like they’re learning or connecting in a deeper way. Whether that’s through a nostalgic show
debate or a behind-the-scenes chat with an actor, it all comes back to wanting people to feel
part of something.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When someone messages me to say, “I love this,” or “This made my day,” it honestly means
everything. Yes, I love the work. But I don’t just do it for myself. I do it because I want to create
something that adds joy or meaning to someone else’s day. That’s the biggest reward.
