Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jai Lockett. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jai, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
Whew, let me tell you… it didn’t start in a boardroom or with a five-step strategy.
It started with a burden.
I wasn’t chasing a business—I was carrying a call. I was in a season where God was stirring something in my spirit so heavy I couldn’t ignore it. I could see women who looked whole on the outside but were silently bleeding on the inside. I saw leaders silently suffocating under corporate systems. I saw daughters of the King who had forgotten their crowns. And the Lord whispered, “You’ve been assigned to help them heal, to help them rise, to help them remember who they are.”
That was the birth of the H.E.R. Movement—Healed. Embraced. Restored. And the fire of God pushed me past fear and into formation.
The very next day I stopped sitting on the vision. I wrote it out—not just a cute name, but a kingdom mandate. I registered the business, filed the paperwork, and prayed over every legal document like I was consecrating it for war. Then I started building. I had to figure out branding, content, structure, and audience. I had to wrestle with doubt, overthinking, imposter syndrome—but I did it anyway. I wasn’t waiting for perfect—I was moving with permission from heaven.
And then God said, “What’s in your hands?” That’s when I realized—my HR expertise wasn’t just corporate, it was kingdom. That’s how Just Us HR Consulting came forth. I realized I didn’t have to separate the oil from the office. I could lead in the boardroom and cast out confusion in the breakroom.
The first few months were hard. There were moments I felt overwhelmed, unsure. But I kept pressing. I learned systems. I built packages. I created programs. I connected with coaches. I fasted. I sowed. I worked the vision while heaven worked behind the scenes. And let me tell you—when God is backing you, you’ll see divine acceleration.
This wasn’t just launching a business. This was birthing a movement—one that would shatter glass ceilings, break generational chains, and set people free in both the spiritual and the professional realms.
So no—I didn’t just start a business. I answered a call. And I’ll keep answering it until the earth looks like heaven.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Let me introduce myself the only way I know how—I am a woman on assignment. A prophetic voice, a disruptor of darkness, and a midwife to destiny.
I am the founder of the H.E.R. Movement—Healed. Embraced. Restored.—a prophetic mantle turned movement birthed out of pain, purpose, and a divine mandate to see women truly whole. Not just surviving—but healing for real, being embraced by the Father, and walking in their restored identity as daughters of the King. I’m also the CEO of Just Us HR Consulting, where I merge marketplace excellence with spiritual discernment to help businesses build people-first, purpose-aligned cultures. Yes—I cast out confusion in the workplace too.
I didn’t just “get into” my industry—I was called into it. Before I ever had a title or a platform, I had warfare. Before I ever had an LLC, I had oil. God processed me through corporate rooms, personal heartbreaks, and spiritual training grounds until I understood how to build, not just for myself, but for the Kingdom. And now I operate unapologetically in both ministry and marketplace spaces—because I believe God is raising up voices that don’t just preach from pulpits but also lead in boardrooms and break cycles in business.
Through my brand, I offer spirit-led coaching, prophetic mentorship, conflict resolution consulting, leadership development, and transformative events that revive, equip, and activate. I’m also a world-renowned published author, creating books, journals, and digital tools that aren’t just pretty—they’re prophetic weapons.
What problems do I solve? I help women who feel invisible remember who they are. I help organizations bring order where there’s chaos. I help leaders realign with their core so they can lead with clarity and conviction. I help people breathe again after systems, life, or even church have tried to suffocate them.
What sets me apart? The anointing. The authenticity. The assignment. I don’t do this for applause—I do this for impact. Everything I birth is saturated in prayer and built with intention. I don’t just serve clients—I cover them. I don’t just offer services—I offer solutions. And I don’t just speak—I shift atmospheres.
What I’m most proud of? Seeing lives transformed. Seeing clients weep in clarity after years of confusion. Seeing women pick up their mantles again. Seeing ministries birthed, marriages healed, careers relaunched, and minds restored. That’s the real reward.
If there’s one thing I want you to know about me and my brand, it’s this: I am not here to blend in—I’m here to break ground. Everything I build is rooted in the belief that healing is possible, identity is powerful, and purpose is non-negotiable.
This isn’t just business. This is warfare. This is movement. This is Kingdom.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Oh yes—I can share a story. Because before there was a platform, there was a process. And before there was a microphone, there was a valley.
There was a season in my life where everything around me was breaking while God was telling me to build. I was dealing with heartbreak, church hurt, disappointment, and spiritual warfare all at once. I had just launched my ministry, just said “yes” to the call, and right when I thought momentum was coming—the bottom dropped out.
People I loved walked away. Support I thought I had disappeared. I was showing up for others while bleeding behind the scenes. I was hosting prayer calls and writing devotionals while crying myself to sleep at night. It was the kind of pressure that makes you either bow out or break through.
And let me tell you, I almost quit.
But the Holy Ghost arrested me one night. I’ll never forget it. I was on the floor, weeping, and I heard the Lord say, “Daughter, don’t confuse warfare with rejection—this is proof that you’re anointed.” Whew.
That night, I made a decision. I dried my tears, picked up my pen, and kept building. I released the book anyway. I launched the program anyway. I prophesied anyway. Because real resilience isn’t about smiling through the storm—it’s about moving anyway, even when your heart is still healing.
That season taught me that the oil on my life didn’t come from a platform. It came from the crushing. And that’s why I show up the way I do. Not because it’s easy, but because I’ve survived what should’ve silenced me.
Resilience, for me, isn’t a buzzword—it’s a war cry. I got up when I had every reason to stay down. And now, I help others do the same.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the hardest lessons I had to unlearn was the lie that I had to do it all alone—that asking for help was a sign of weakness, and that if I stumbled, it meant I wasn’t called or anointed enough.
For years, I carried the weight of ministry, business, and purpose like Atlas—thinking I had to be the strong, unshakable woman who never showed cracks. I believed the enemy’s lie that vulnerability meant failure.
But the backstory? It came from years of trying to prove myself—to God, to people, to me. I poured out my soul, worked late nights, pushed through spiritual warfare, and tried to hold everything together. I even told myself, “If you can’t do it all, you don’t deserve it.” That mindset almost broke me.
Then God showed up and exposed the truth: purpose is a partnership. It’s not a solo mission—it’s a divine collaboration. When I finally unlearned the pride of isolation, I stepped into greater authority and favor. I started building with trusted teams, inviting counsel, and embracing community. I realized that asking for help is actually a weapon against the enemy’s attempts to wear you down.
So the lesson? You don’t have to be a lone warrior. You’re called to lead a battalion—and there is power, strength, and supernatural increase in walking that way.
That shift changed everything.
