Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gladys Muñoz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Gladys thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
At IntiNova Consulting, we diverge from the traditional model of business consulting by centering equity, culture, and accessibility — not as add-ons, but as the foundation of everything we do. We started because of an unmet need: too many underrepresented founders — especially BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ+, and women entrepreneurs — were being overlooked, underserved, or priced out of the support they deserved.
Unlike the industry standard, we don’t offer one-size-fits-all strategies or corporate jargon. Instead, we meet our clients where they are, in their language, at their level of business maturity, and with cultural respect. We deliver consulting in English and Spanish, and offer both high-touch services and accessible subscription-based models to reach those often left on the margins.
One of our most memorable moments came from a Spanish-speaking beauty entrepreneur who joined our branding session unsure if her story mattered. By the end, she not only launched her brand, but she began mentoring others in her community — proving that empowerment is contagious when given the right tools and support.
At IntiNova, we’re not just helping businesses grow — we’re building ecosystems of transformation, one founder at a time.

Gladys, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Gladys Muñoz, Founder and CEO of IntiNova Consulting—a bilingual, woman- and LGBTQ+-owned boutique firm. We help small businesses, nonprofits, and underrepresented entrepreneurs achieve growth with clarity and confidence.
My professional journey, spanning over a decade in human services, community development, and business consulting both domestically and abroad, revealed a profound truth. Countless brilliant, passionate individuals have groundbreaking ideas but lack the culturally attuned tools, strategic guidance, or comprehensive support to truly bring those visions to fruition. IntiNova was born precisely to bridge this critical access gap.
We offer business coaching, branding, marketing, social media management, and financial consulting, all customized for entrepreneurs often underserved by traditional firms. We work in both English and Spanish, always meeting clients at their current stage.
What truly distinguishes IntiNova is our approach: we embed empathy, holistic personal growth, equity, and cultural humility directly into the heart of our strategy. We’re invested in both the individual and their business, because for us, it’s about transforming people’s lives—and that includes their small businesses.
If there’s one singular message I wish to convey about IntiNova, it’s this: you don’t need a flawless blueprint or an impeccably polished pitch to deserve support—all you need is a compelling vision. And we’re here to help you bring that vision to life.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
For me, resilience is shaped not only by lived experience, but by my ability to understand and navigate the larger ecosystems where I live, lead, and collaborate. One of the most defining moments of resilience in my journey came during my time as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2016 to 2018, serving in the Western Highlands of Guatemala, in a predominantly Mayan community where K’iche’, not Spanish, was the primary language.
Living and working in that environment required deep adaptability, cultural humility, and an openness to unlearn and relearn everything I thought I knew about communication and community building. It taught me to listen more deeply, to honor local knowledge, and to lead with empathy — even when I couldn’t yet find the words.
That experience pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me reconnect with myself in a more grounded, authentic way. It didn’t just teach me how to adapt — it reminded me that true resilience is about staying rooted while remaining flexible, and showing up with intention, especially in unfamiliar spaces.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I’ve built my reputation by intentionally showing up in nontraditional spaces — places where consultants are often missing. While many in my field rely on established clients or corporate referrals, IntiNova takes a community-first, social impact-driven approach. One example is my collaboration with the Millennium Latino Project, a nonprofit based in Lynn, MA. Together, we support leaders, entrepreneurs, and small business owners on their path to success. It’s through these grassroots connections that trust — and ultimately, reputation — is built.
What’s helped most is understanding that credentials alone aren’t enough. People want to see your skills in action and know that you truly understand their challenges. By listening, offering real value, and meeting people where they are, I’ve been able to earn trust, deliver impact, and build a reputation rooted in relevance and authentic relationships.
