If there is one thing I could do all over it would be following my artistic pursuits earlier in life. Growing up I was always drawing and would get in trouble for drawing horses on my school work. I loved to sew and do embroidery as well. I remember being a little kid and hearing about starving artists, and that didn’t sound very fun to me. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school class in 1996. Back then if you were good in school it was a given that you would go on to college. Looking back on everything, I would have started the Instagram page much sooner. Graduating from college and moving into New York City, I immediately fell in love with the food scene. It has every cuisine you could ask for and the quality is top notch. Unfortunately, for those of you unfamiliar with New York, food prices are outrageous. What once started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a small business when restaurants began providing complementary meals in exhange for a few posts on the account.
