We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jady Kasinger a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jady, appreciate you joining us today. One of the toughest parts of scaling a business is maintaining quality as you grow. How have you managed to maintain quality? Any stories or advice?
As JadyK grew, maintaining quality was non-negotiable. From the beginning, we knew that the experience our customers had with our bralettes would define our reputation, so we implemented quality control at multiple stages—design, production, and fulfillment.
On the design side, we started involving customer feedback directly into our product development process. A great example is our proprietary Helping Hands™ padding. We kept hearing complaints about flimsy, shifting bra pads, so we tested and refined until we developed something more structured, supportive, and durable. That direct feedback loop became a built-in quality control measure, because when you’re solving real problems, you’re automatically building a better product. Our designs are always evolving—based on feedback, trends, and fit testing—because we believe there’s always room to improve and innovate with every launch.
At the manufacturing level, we established a strict sample approval process. Every new style or colorway has to pass multiple wear tests before we approve it for production. We also work closely with our factories overseas to inspect batches—especially on first runs—and we built relationships with suppliers who share our commitment to quality.
In fulfillment, we made a deliberate choice to work with a 3PL (third-party logistics provider) that allows us to spot check high-volume shipments and flag any issues before they leave the warehouse. This is especially important with wholesale orders, where one bad shipment can damage a boutique’s trust.
One real turning point came when we caught a shipment with misaligned lace on one of our best-selling styles. Because of our sample comparison system and routine checks, we caught it before it went out to retailers. That saved us from what could’ve been hundreds of returns and lost sales. Instead, we corrected it immediately and were able to communicate transparently with our boutiques, which actually strengthened those relationships.
My advice for anyone scaling a product-based business: don’t wait until there’s a problem to create a quality control process. Build it into your growth plan. And remember—quality isn’t just about materials or manufacturing; it’s about your reputation and your customer’s confidence in your brand. That’s worth protecting at every stage.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi! I’m Jady Kasinger, the founder of JadyK, a Nashville-based brand that’s all about creating stylish, supportive, and size-inclusive bralettes that actually fit and feel good all day. My journey into this industry started in 2018 when I opened a small boutique right here in Tennessee. Like many boutique owners, I was always searching for quality bralettes to offer my customers, but the options were limited, especially when it came to comfort, quality, and inclusive sizing. I kept thinking: “Why is it so hard to find something cute, soft, and supportive that works for more than just one body type?”
That question turned into an idea… and that idea turned into JadyK.
In 2020, I pivoted from running a retail boutique to designing and wholesaling my own bralettes. It was a big leap—but the right one. I started with just a few styles and a strong belief that we could do better when it came to intimates. Since then, we’ve sold over 500,000 bralettes, partnered with hundreds of boutiques across the U.S., and grown our direct-to-consumer presence online. It’s been an amazing journey, built with intention, a lot of feedback, and a ton of heart.
What We Offer:
At JadyK, we design bralettes and women’s basics—from everyday staples to fun seasonal prints—using buttery-soft fabrics, thoughtful fits, and unique touches like our Helping Hands™ padding, which we created in-house to solve the problem of flimsy, bunchy bra pads. We also offer matching briefs, loungewear, and exclusive collections for our wholesale and retail customers.
What Makes Us Different:
We test every product on real people—not just fit models—to make sure the fit, comfort, and sizing are consistent across a wide range of body types. We go the extra mile to source high-quality materials (no scratchy lace here!) and we’re always evolving our designs based on customer feedback.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Our bralettes are made to be lived in, styled with outfits, and worn all day—from running errands to lounging at home. We also work closely with small boutiques, giving them access to fashion-forward bralettes that help them stand out and increase AOV through consistent upselling.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve built—both our loyal retail customers and our wholesale partners. Seeing how excited women get when they find a bralette that actually fits and flatters is the most rewarding part of what we do. I’m also proud that we’ve grown this brand organically, staying true to our mission without cutting corners.
What I Want You to Know:
JadyK is more than just a bralette brand. We’re here to help women feel confident, supported, and stylish—without sacrificing comfort. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or for your boutique, you can trust that every piece we make has been tested, refined, and made with care.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the biggest tests of resilience in my journey came in 2020. I had been running a small boutique in Tennessee for a couple of years and things were going well—until the pandemic hit. Like so many small business owners, I was faced with the reality that foot traffic was gone overnight, inventory was piling up, and I had no idea what the future would look like.
But instead of giving up, I leaned into the one part of my business that had consistently performed well: bralettes. I started listening even more closely to my customers—what they loved, what they needed, what wasn’t working—and made the decision to pivot from being a boutique owner to launching my own bralette brand.
It was terrifying. I had no formal background in product development or manufacturing. I had to teach myself everything—from fabric sourcing to factory communication to building wholesale relationships. There were moments I doubted everything. But I kept going, one step at a time, fueled by the belief that I was solving a real problem for real women.
Fast forward to today, and that leap of faith has turned into JadyK, a brand that has sold over 500,000 bralettes, works with hundreds of boutiques, and has a growing, loyal customer base nationwide.
That moment of uncertainty could have ended my business. Instead, it became the catalyst for something so much bigger. And now, whenever I face a hard decision, I remind myself: we’ve been through worse and came out stronger.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
A big part of building our reputation in the market has been staying highly connected—not just to our wholesale partners, but to their customers as well. From early on, we made it a priority to work closely with boutiques, showing up for them in ways that go beyond just selling product. One of the most impactful strategies has been doing live shows directly on boutique social media pages, apps, and websites. It creates a powerful ripple effect—we’re building trust with the boutique, while also getting in front of their audience in a real, engaging, and authentic way.
So by the time we launched our bralette brand on JadyK.com, we already had a name for ourselves. Shoppers recognized JadyK from their favorite local boutiques—and that familiarity translated into instant credibility.
We also make it a point to attend trade shows like Dallas Apparel, which allows us to stay visible and connected in the industry. It’s not just about meeting new clients—it’s about showing up consistently, building real relationships, and staying plugged in to what’s happening in the boutique world.
Reputation isn’t something we built overnight. It came from doing the work—partnering authentically, showing up live, staying present, and focusing on connection as much as conversion.
