We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jam Alker. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jam below.
Jam, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Honestly, HEAL came out of a very personal journey. After spending years in the music industry and then doing a lot of advocacy work in recovery and mental health, I hit a point where I knew I needed to evolve again — not just for myself, but for my family and for the people I was trying to help.
I saw firsthand how traditional medicine falls short when it comes to chronic conditions, burnout, and just helping people feel good again. So I became obsessed with biohacking, longevity, and the idea that you don’t have to just survive life — you can optimize it.
HEAL is the physical expression of that idea. It’s where ancient healing meets cutting-edge science. And everything we do — from sauna and cold plunge, to red light and PEMF, to the functional medicine side — it’s all about giving people the tools to take control of their health and extend both their lifespan and healthspan.
So it’s more than just a business for me — it’s a mission. I want people to walk in and feel like they just entered the future of wellness… but also feel seen, heard, and supported. That’s what makes HEAL different.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years — musician, speaker, recovery advocate, real estate investor, entrepreneur — but everything I’ve done has been rooted in one thing: transformation. Whether it was transforming my own life from addiction and burnout to purpose and passion, or helping others do the same, that’s always been the throughline.
After a successful run in music, including national tours and a documentary about my journey, I stepped away from the spotlight and started focusing on healing — physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. I dove deep into the world of wellness, functional medicine, biohacking, and longevity. I wasn’t looking for surface-level fixes — I wanted root-cause solutions. I wanted to heal.
That journey led me to create HEAL – The Center for Wellness & Longevity, a place where ancient healing meets modern science. At HEAL, we offer infrared sauna, cold plunge therapy, red light therapy, PEMF, IV drip therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, and a range of biohacking and functional wellness services — all under one roof.
But it’s not just the tools — it’s the philosophy. We’re here for people who are tired of band-aid medicine and want to reclaim their energy, reverse chronic symptoms, and feel 30 when they’re 60. We help people heal from the inside out — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and we give them the systems, the data, and the support to thrive for the long haul.
What sets us apart is that we’re not just another spa, clinic, or wellness trend. We’re a movement. HEAL is built on empathy, innovation, and results. It’s a place where every treatment is grounded in science, every recommendation is personalized, and every member is treated like family.
I’m most proud of the community we’re building — a space where people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to rewrite their health story.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and about HEAL, it’s this:
You don’t have to wait until you’re sick to start healing. You can start now. You deserve to feel amazing. And we’re here to show you how.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Yeah… I’ve got a few stories of resilience — but there’s one that really shifted everything for me.
Years ago, I had what most people would call “success.” I was touring with my band, had a record deal, played in front of crowds, and was doing big things… on the outside. But internally, I was burned out, spiritually bankrupt, and addicted — numbing the pain I hadn’t faced. Eventually, it all crashed. I lost everything. Music. Money. My health. My marriage. Even my sense of self.
That rock bottom forced me to ask: What am I really here for?
I went into recovery. I did the work. I found purpose again — not in chasing validation, but in helping others heal. That’s when I began speaking, sharing my story at treatment centers, at schools, even at Google’s mental health summit. I started a foundation. And I rebuilt from the ground up — slower, more intentionally this time.
But then, when COVID hit, everything paused again. I couldn’t tour. I couldn’t speak. Once again, I had to pivot.
That’s when I turned inward again — this time into studying health, longevity, and how to create true freedom. I went deep into crypto investing, built a portfolio, studied functional medicine, biohacking, nutrition — not to get rich or get fit, but to never feel powerless in my health again.
That journey is what gave birth to HEAL. It’s the most aligned thing I’ve ever built — because it came from surviving collapse and choosing to grow through it.
Resilience, to me, isn’t about toughness. It’s about integration. Taking your pain and turning it into purpose. And that’s the heartbeat of everything I do now.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my life came when COVID hit. At the time, I was doing exactly what I loved — touring with my band, speaking at events, sharing my story of recovery, and helping others heal through music and mental health advocacy. I had built momentum, a platform, and a purpose.
And then — like so many others — everything stopped. Tours were canceled. Speaking gigs disappeared overnight. The very outlets I used to serve others and support my family vanished.
At first, I felt stuck. But then something clicked: If the old way is gone, what’s the new way forward?
So I pivoted. Hard.
I went deep into self-education — investing, trading, digital assets, functional medicine, longevity science. I realized that the next chapter of service wasn’t going to be on a stage — it was going to be in creating a space for others to radically heal, thrive, and take ownership of their health and their future.
That’s when the vision for HEAL was born. A center that combines everything I’ve learned — resilience, wellness, technology, and transformation — and makes it available to the public in a powerful, accessible way.
So yeah, I’ve pivoted. Not once — but many times. But every pivot brought me closer to alignment. Closer to the version of myself that isn’t just surviving, but truly living with purpose — and helping others do the same.
