Michael , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

We have had a very successful Carry Out Restaurant that has been in the family for over 43 years strong! Instead of opening another restaurant, we decided to open a food truck! That way we can come closer to those who love our food already and get the word out even more.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

We started this business right when Covid hit. It was a long and more lengthy process. But we were determined! We offer some of the BEST Pit Beef and BBQ in the DMV. Back in the day we were nominated and held the title of “Baltimores Best Pit Beef.” We strive for the best quality, The best Service and over all the Best BBQ around! We hope that you support this local “Hidden Gem.”

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

As a small businesses owner, it’s hard to start your business. We started this business working endlessly and saving as much money as we could. Nothing is impossible…. Work hard and play harder! We saved up over the years and put are all into it. Literally every penny to start this business. With great risk, comes great rewards.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Promoting is key when it comes to running a small business. It takes a lot of time, money and patience. As you grow a small business you will find out where your audience is. Patience is a virtual.
