Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aaron, Caleb Evans, Hunt. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Aaron, Caleb thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
3arthbound! as a business, a brand, as well as a lifestyle all began in the summer of 2023. We had just graduated from North Atlanta high school, while Aaron Evans pursued higher education at Morehouse, I (Caleb Hunt) decided on something a little different, I felt as if the world needed something authentic, something true. I wanted to create a brand that was more than material objects, and alongside with Aaron Evans we did exactly that, creating a design that seemed practical and had potential, but if viewed upon by the right eyes, uncovered a much deeper meaning. Every piece, every video, every post that comes from 3arthbound! Has a deeper meaning. We knew the truth was an approach long forgotten by most, with major companies lying everyday to smaller brands lying about things as simple as shipping dates and materials, we understood people only wanted the truth if it benefited them. The idea of not only telling the truth, but still being able to produce and create content the people loved made it all worth the while.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
The 3arthbound! brand was created to celebrate and express the creative community. We honor those who remain true to their art and are authentic in a society that is starting to shift towards being fake. Me (Aaron) and Caleb decided to start a community within the creative community. Our main service is in the clothing industry, specifcally streetwear, where we offer unique graphic and fasion designs. We do venture into the media side of art like film making and music. We’ve always been creative for as long as I can remember, dating back to our childhood. We would make youtube videos using action figures. Clothing became relevant to us the older we got, sparking our interest into the clothing buisness. The problem we solve for our clients is expressing yourself creatively, while remaining comfortable. All our peices are unique with never seen before designs and twists on pop culture, while remaing comfortable to wear at all times.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele has been a combination of authentic social media engagement and intentional in-person networking. On social platforms, we focused on building a community rather than just selling replying to comments, reposting customer photos, and sharing the story behind our pieces. That created a sense of connection and loyalty. At the same time, we consistently showed up at pop-ups, local events, and collaborated with other creatives, which helped us build face-to-face relationships and gain trust within our target audience.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?
Some of our products are manufactured overseas in south asia, and some are hand made here in Atlanta, GA. The products that are manufactured overseas are usually highly demanded more. Our overseas manufactuaring is done through all safety procedures making sure no child, or any worker is suffering. We make sure that all fabrics used are eco – friendly and is beneficial to the enviorment. We have solidified a great relationship with our manufacturer. As far as making products on hand, we do it very limited. We order fabrics from our manufacturer and make limited products. These limited products are carfully crafted with detail or printed design by hand. How we ended up finding a manufactuere that worked for us was through a series of working with different ones until we found the one that worked best for us. This specefic manufacturer we found on instagram, but you can find proffesional manufactuers on a site called alibaba. As far as learning how to self manufacture, I (Aaron) Taught myself through youtube and failure. The more the you fail the more likely to succeed.
