Narmin, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I learned from YouTube videos, channels, online courses.
Practicing! A lot practicing!
Time )))

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi! I’m a creative mom , UI/UX Designer, small business owner with a passion for crafting and design. My journey started as a childhood love for art and grew into a business that brings joy to both kids and adults.
Through my crafting events and parties, I help kids explore their creativity with fun, hands-on activities that leave them proud and inspired. I also design timeless white button-down shirts made from high-quality cotton (Cotton44), focusing on comfort, simplicity, and style.
What sets my brand apart is the heart I put into everything — from making kids feel special during craft time to offering well-made shirts that speak for themselves. I’m proud to create experiences and products that spark confidence, creativity, and joy.
Thank you for supporting my small business and being part of this creative journey!

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
Yes, marketing!
It is so valuable!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
What helped the most was being consistent and showing up as myself. I didn’t try to make things perfect — I focused on sharing the experience: the kids’ laughter, the textures, the sparkle, and the smiles. I also made sure to interact with my followers, respond to messages, and support other local creatives and moms. That community vibe really helped me grow.
My advice to anyone starting out:
Start where you are, use what you have, and don’t overthink it. Be real. Share what you love, even if it’s not perfect. Use stories, reels, and posts to show your process, your passion, and your personality. People don’t just follow a product — they follow a story, a vibe, and a person they connect with. So let them get to know you.
Also — don’t be afraid to ask happy customers to tag you, share photos, and leave reviews. Word of mouth on social media is powerful, especially when it comes from real people who’ve experienced your work.
