We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Wick a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Wick , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
We are completely custom. From linens to stationary to ceramics. Every detail of our events are custom.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My interest in creative designs early in my career was highly inspired by the work of Miles Redd through his book, The Big Book of Chic. His eye for color, texture and placement made my work come to life.
I believe what sets me apart from most event designers is my passion and love for the craft of curating fabulous, custom settings for my clients.
I am often found floating through the shops on Worth Avenue and my favorite shops in Palm Beach for special vintage finds to keep the flame of my inspiration flowing and fresh. I get rejuvenated by seeing what other creative minds have designed and produced and it drives me to want to keep pushing the boundaries for discovering new and exciting ways to bring joy to people’s lives.
My team and I currently have an unparalleled array of Italian linens with our custom designs ready to launch that appeal to both the event industry as well as for the home which are available to order online and select retail locations in Florida and Georgia. In addition, using a play on my name, we are launching a scented candle line under the name Wick.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being passionate about creating purely custom experiences that reflect the personality of my clients is one of the main reasons I have built my reputation in event designs so quickly. From the initial client meeting to the creation of the mood board all design elements are crafted with the consideration of the type of the event, the location and the time of year for which it is planned. Carefully molding all of the unique details into the planning phase ensures that the experience will be perfectly curated to reflect the special memories being made for years to come.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?
I spent many sleepless nights virtually walking the internet streets of Alibaba during COVID to source manufacturers for our products. We have been blessed to develop lasting relationships within our network of family and friends to manufacture our fabulous products in Italy and Asia in order to make our dreams come to life.
