Today we’d like to introduce you to Zuojie Li.

Hi Zuojie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After graduating from university, I entered the advertising industry, but because of my love for Fine Art, I returned to school to obtain a master’s degree in Fine Art. After graduation, I worked hard to become an artist.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is very difficult. As a cross-disciplinary student, you need to spend a lot of time reading books and participating in practice. Fine Art and design majors have different logics.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am currently an art director and an artist. I am good at graphic design, illustration, and drawing. What I am most proud of is that I am a person who likes to cross disciplines and reorganize the things that interest me.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Be patient with different things or goals
