We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raven BALLINGER. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raven below.
Raven, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
One of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on is the Purple Meets Pink Affair, now celebrating its 10-year anniversary. This annual event raises awareness for breast cancer and domestic violence survivors, creating a space filled with love, empowerment, and healing. While I have not experienced abuse myself, I’ve always been an advocate and voice for survivors.
To honor the 10-year milestone, I wrote and produced the stage play Unbreakable, which tells stories of survival, strength, and sisterhood. It was a powerful way to celebrate and amplify the voices of those who inspire me.
Another meaningful project is my natural pain relief product, Magic Mustard, which I created to help people manage pain in a holistic way. It started small but quickly became a go-to for people dealing with everything from sore muscles to chronic conditions.
Everything I do—through Real Boss Management, my plays, products, and events—is about uplifting and advocating for my community. These projects are meaningful because they serve a purpose bigger than me.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Raven Ballinger, and I’m a creative entrepreneur, event producer, minister, and founder of Real Boss Management. I wear many hats, but my heart’s mission is always the same — to empower, inspire, and advocate for those finding their voice and walking in their purpose.
I got into this work by living it. After years of supporting others while neglecting my own dreams, I chose to show up for myself. That decision birthed Real Boss Management, where I help creatives and entrepreneurs turn their ideas into impactful brands. I believe in building from the ground up — with authenticity, hustle, and heart.
One of the projects I’m most proud of is the Purple Meets Pink Affair, a 10-year-running event that brings awareness to breast cancer and domestic violence. It’s more than an event — it’s a movement. It’s a safe space for healing, sisterhood, and survival. I recently wrote and produced the play Unbreakable to celebrate that journey.
I’m also the creator of Magic Mustard, an all-natural pain relief cream that helps people with chronic pain, joint stiffness, muscle soreness, and more. It’s a product born from a desire to offer real, natural relief — and it’s been a blessing to watch it grow.
As a wedding officiant, I get the honor of helping couples begin their journey in a way that reflects who they truly are. Whether it’s traditional, spiritual, or themed — love is love, and I love being part of those special moments.
What sets me apart is my passion for people. Everything I create — from products to plays — is rooted in purpose. I’m not just building a brand. I’m building a legacy of truth, healing, and unapologetic creativity.
If you’re following me or working with me, expect realness, resilience, and results — because I believe the real always prosper.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Absolutely. One thing I believe non-creatives often struggle to understand is the emotional labor and mental weight that comes with being a creative entrepreneur. People see the finished product — the event, the product, the play — but they don’t always see the late nights, self-doubt, financial sacrifices, or emotional investment behind it.
When I produce the Purple Meets Pink Affair, I’m not just planning an event — I’m building a platform for survivors, creating space for healing, and managing emotions that aren’t just mine. When I wrote Unbreakable, it wasn’t just a script — it was a spiritual release, a tribute, and a responsibility. That kind of work takes more than creativity — it takes heart, healing, and relentless belief.
Creatives don’t clock in and out. We live our work. We carry it in our minds, in our spirit, and often, on our backs. The pressure to keep showing up, especially when no one claps, is something only a creative heart can fully understand. But even when it’s hard, I wouldn’t trade it — because this is my purpose.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes — my creative journey is deeply rooted in the mission to heal, uplift, and empower. Every project I create — from Purple Meets Pink Affair to Magic Mustard, from my stage plays to my consulting work — is driven by the desire to give voice to the unheard and power to the overlooked.
I want to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired — whether that’s through a healing event, a powerful performance, or a product that brings real relief. I’ve lived through seasons of silencing myself to keep others comfortable. Now, I create so others don’t have to.
My mission is to build legacy through impact, to show others that starting from scratch is not the end — it’s the beginning. I want my journey to say: You can lose it all and still come back stronger. You can be real, raw, and still rise.
That’s what drives me — purpose over popularity, and impact over image.
