We recently connected with Barbara Saint Aimé and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Barbara, thanks for joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
I started my career in Public Relations working under one of Hollywood’s top publicists. I was 23, wide-eyed, and eager to prove myself. What I walked into was an industry that looked glamorous on the outside, but underneath, was full of dysfunction, unchecked ego, and emotional burnout.
My boss was verbally abusive, manipulative, and careless with my time, talent, and boundaries. She didn’t prioritize my growth or development until she was planning to leave the company and needed to make a move. That dynamic taught me a lot about what leadership is not. It also exposed me to an industry that often values output over well-being, and proximity to power over integrity.
Still, there were moments of light. I got to travel. I worked closely with a client I truly respected. For a while, it felt like things were finally aligning.
But even that came with challenges.
At one point, the client asked me to train her brother, someone with no formal experience to do my job. She was under pressure to help him, and I was the collateral. I was expected to stay professional while being dismissed, disrespected, and essentially asked to make myself replaceable.
It was unreasonable. And it was a breaking point.
I started to see how often I was praised for my work, but not protected. Valued, but not respected. My growth was constantly capped to fit someone else’s comfort. And I finally realized: I didn’t need to keep proving my worth. I needed to protect it.
All of this took a toll. And through it, I began to realize something deeper about myself: I am a deeply sensitive person. I had been navigating some of the most high-stress environments while completely disconnected from my emotional needs. That’s when I found astrology. And everything started to make sense.
It helped me understand myself in ways I never had before. It gave language to what I had felt, but couldn’t name. And it eventually led me to create Each Element – my own care-based astrology brand rooted in healing, self-awareness, and emotional truth.
Those experiences didn’t just push me to make a career shift. They pushed me to come home to myself.

Barbara, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m an astrologer, intuitive, and the founder of Each Element, a soul-centered wellness brand that helps people reconnect to themselves through astrology, self-care, and ritual.
I didn’t always know I’d be doing this.
I began my career in entertainment PR, working in some of the most high-profile, high-stress rooms in the industry. Then lifestyle and fashion PR. On paper, it looked like success. But behind the scenes, I was burned out, emotionally overwhelmed, spiritually depleted, and navigating power dynamics that left me questioning my worth.
I wanted the success I had on paper to feel true in my body. I craved alignment.
Then I found astrology. At first, it was just a curiosity. But the more I studied it, the more I felt seen. It gave language to parts of myself I had buried. It helped me make sense of my relationships, my patterns, and my purpose. And eventually, it changed the course of my life.
Each Element was born out of that transformation.
Through astrology readings, custom workshops, elemental care packages, and digital content, I help people feel at home in their own energy. My work centers on emotional intelligence, nervous system awareness, and reconnecting to your own intuition. I’m less about predictions and more about perspective. I want people to understand their charts in a way that feels personal and practical, something they can actually use.
My care packages are designed with the four elements in mind (fire, earth, air, and water) and include items like affirmation decks, bath soaks, oils, journals, and more. They’re meant to support emotional and energetic balance, especially for folks who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or just moving through life in a world that doesn’t always prioritize care.
What sets me apart is my tone. My approach. My compassion.
I don’t use a lot of astrological jargon. I speak like a real person. I blend astrology with real-life experience. And I always try to leave people feeling more whole than when they arrived.
I’m most proud of how this work has grown, from a solo offering to a full brand, and how many people now tell me Each Element helped them feel seen for the first time.
Each Element is the love letter I wrote to myself, and now I share it with others.
It’s not just a brand. It’s a return to wholeness, one element at a time.
If there’s one thing I’d want people to know, it’s this:
You don’t have to become someone else to feel better. You just have to remember who you are. And I’m here to help with that.
Now, I get to offer people what I needed back then: a place to feel seen, supported, and spiritually grounded.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
Even the painful parts of my professional past were part of the path. They shaped me. They taught me how to stand in my worth, even in rooms that tried to shrink it.
Everything I’ve lived through helped me become the secure woman I am now. And it’s that security, that self-awareness, that allowed me to truly appreciate what astrology has to offer.
Understanding my past through the lens of astrology gave me the tools to reflect with compassion, not regret. It helped me turn hard experiences into wisdom. It helped me love and accept myself.
I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything, because they led me here. And here is where I’ve found purpose, peace, and a way to support others who are learning to trust themselves too.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
There have been a few turning points in my journey, but one that stands out is navigating professional deception, more than once.
I’ve had business relationships where trust was broken, where money became a power play, and where my time and value were dismissed or taken for granted. I stayed in some of those dynamics longer than I should have, because I thought I had to prove myself. I thought loyalty meant silence, but real loyalty starts with being loyal to yourself.
But what those experiences taught me was how deeply I needed to start choosing myself.
I learned that partnership isn’t always aligned, and that I don’t have to sacrifice my peace or power to be professional. I got clear on my worth, tightened my boundaries, and stopped doing work that didn’t feel good in my body.
That’s when Each Element was born, out of a desire to create something rooted in intention, care, and self-respect.
I’ve turned betrayal into boundaries. Confusion into clarity. And I’m proud of that. But even more than pride, I feel peace, because I know who I am now.
