We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Eyezc Haze a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Eyezc , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Lol, To be honest I think the did almost everything right looking back on it. It’s my responsibility to find my way as an adult goin through life doing whatever task at hand. Both my Father and Mother were a big impact on my music career early. I’ve been playing piano since 6-7 years old. My Dads love and extremely knowledgeable about various genre of music though he’s never played an instrument and my Mom making me take lessons until i graduated high school played a major role into what I’m doing today.
How I got started making beats, songwriting, producing music goes back to grade school and a some time spent at college. A handful friends, family, and life events can change a lot of how I ended up here today. The main turning point that I made me go with my move was a conversation I had with a homie Tucker, (RIP) God Rest His Soul, he saw the future of where music was going and said I should try a different way of doing music and I took the advice!! The other person is Christian. He played Wiz Khalifa Kush & OJ mixtape and that changed my whole way creativity of making music. I didn’t even at the time people was making beats that smooth, all I knew was trap/dirty south music. Thank God for them because I don’t know where I may have been.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hey everyone, I’m Eyezc — a creative force constantly blending storytelling, music, visual art, and culture into meaningful works. I stepped into this world out of a deep love for turning raw ideas into something people can feel, whether that’s through music, visuals, or a carefully crafted concept that sticks with you long after you experience it.
I first got into this craft because I’ve always believed that stories — whether told through a beat, a lyric, an image, or a brand — have the power to connect us across time, place, and background.
What I offer:
I provide creative works that range from music production and songwriting to visual art, album covers, storytelling, short films, and branded concepts. I also help clients develop projects that need an authentic voice and a sharp eye for detail — whether that’s an album cover that feels iconic, a video that captures emotion, or a brand that needs a cultural edge.
Problems I solve:
I help artists, brands, and creatives translate their raw ideas into finished works that resonate. A lot of people have the vision, but they struggle to bring it into the world — that’s where I come in. I turn abstract ideas into clear, compelling, and polished products that cut through the noise.
What sets me apart:
I’m proud to say my work always carries a piece of where I come from — a sense of realness, a Southern soul, a commitment to craft. I bring a layered approach: the ability to pull from music, visual art, and cultural history and tie it together in a way that feels fresh but rooted. I don’t just make things that look or sound good — I make things that make you feel something.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Being an inspiration for someone or other artist by what I am able to contribute/do. Whether it be music, design, food, I just want to be the spark possibly. A goal of mine is to eventually do collaborative project with a Major Brand and bring something positive to the city.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I’m inspired by Harlem’s own Dapper Dan, I watch a lot his interviews and try to learn and implement some of those teachings in my everyday life. I haven’t finished reading his memoirs but need to. Another person that’s impacted my music philosophy are Greg Phillinganes and Bruce Swedien.
