We were lucky to catch up with Lisa Schoendient recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lisa, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Our Mission
Our journey began in 2007 after a life-changing injury—when I broke my back falling down the stairs. Faced with chronic pain and a body that didn’t respond well to prescribed pain pills or patches, I searched for an alternative. That search led me to THC salves. After much experimentation and refining my formula, I found real relief—naturally and safely. This breakthrough changed everything.
As a passionate chef, I wondered: If I could ease pain with a topical salve, what could I do with food? Inspired by pioneers like Nonna Marijuana and driven by my love of cooking, I began creating THC-infused culinary experiences. My kitchen became a place of healing, experimentation, and love—where wellness and food met.
My mission was never just about food—it was about freedom from pain without the destructive cycle of addiction. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the toll pain pill addiction could take, and I was determined to find another way—not just for myself, but for others like me. That includes my daughter, who, after her own spinal surgery, found relief in the very same salves and treats I created. It allowed her to live and work pain-free, without relying on harmful pharmaceuticals.
What started as small dinner parties with friends and family soon turned into a movement—a growing community of people seeking holistic healing through infused cuisine. Our THC salves quickly gained recognition for their powerful healing properties, and our culinary events blossomed into full-fledged experiences that nourish both the body and the soul.
Today, our mission is clear: To provide natural, effective, and delicious alternatives for pain management and wellness through infused culinary art. We are here to educate, elevate, and heal—one bite, one balm, one person at a time.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My journey into the world of infused culinary healing began after a life-altering injury—when I broke my back falling down the stairs. Struggling with chronic pain and adverse reactions to prescribed pain pills and patches, I knew there had to be a better way. That search led me to the healing power of THC salves. After months of experimentation and refining my formula, I found genuine relief in cannabis. That discovery changed everything.
As a lifelong foodie and experienced home chef, I started to wonder: If I can heal with salves, what could I do with food? This question sparked the beginning of a journey rooted in love, tradition, and herbal wellness.
Together with my daughter, and with inspiration from the recipes and cooking styles passed down from our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers, we began creating dishes that fused healing with heritage. We gathered with like-minded friends and family—each bringing their own culinary wisdom—and focused on using only fresh, organic ingredients. As an avid gardener, growing clean, nutrient dense food was second nature to me.
Through countless trials and joyful errors, our vision came to life. Now, my daughter and I host exclusive infused dinner parties—by reservation only—where guests can experience the full sensory and therapeutic journey of cannabis-infused cuisine.
In addition to our dinners, we also offer a carefully crafted line of infused wellness products, including:
THC Pain Bomb Salve – our flagship remedy that started it all
Infused Ice Creams, Infused Cookies, Infused Brownies & Infused Crackers – made with love and legacy recipes
Infused Salted Caramels & Assorted Infused Candies – a sweet dose of relief
Organic Herbal Teas – for calm, comfort, and balance

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

We are here to educate, elevate, and heal—one bite, one balm, one person at a time.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is simple: it’s having fun and being myself. The process of creating—whether it’s crafting a new recipe, blending herbal infusions, or experimenting with flavors—is filled with joy, laughter, and moments of unexpected magic. Even the mistakes become part of the adventure.
This is why they call me The Happy Chef.
