Carter, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What were some of the most unexpected problems you’ve faced in your business and how did you resolve those issues?

I am an Author, Entrepreneur, Custom Home Builder & Life Coach.

I have published 5 books to date under Heads Up Publications:
1. Questions With No Answers
2. Am I Trump?
3. Lying Mirrors
4. From Believing to Knowing
5. If Thoughts Could Kill

My objective in writing books is for them to be personalized to reach a person’s heart in secret. To encourage a person to be at liberty to let their guards down and awaken dormant areas derived from their heart and/or mind to promote self-awareness. Not only for a person to self-reflect but to make the conscious decision to walk in their true essence of their “Being” in this life. My books are only a reflection of who we are or used to be. My books also promote unity, peace, and love. My books will help us on a course of changing ourselves first, before attempting to change others.
As a Custom Home Builder, I try to project a personal experience in the building process of family homes according to the vision set forth by the homeowner.
As a Life Coach the services I offer self-awareness, personal intellectual viewpoints, restoring healthy mental capacity and promulgating self-love, temperance, endurance, and the ability to move forward in love.

I acknowledge God our Creator on a personal level. Not governed by most traditional religious viewpoints. I love people and I love helping people.

My objective in life is teaching and operating in entrepreneurship/ownership with the intention of creating wealth streams for our children, children.

We must first and foremost expect, know, and understand that Life itself is full of unexpected problems and issues, there is no way to avoid them. We must practice different measures and concepts of overcoming and surpassing these issues and problems daily, especially in the business arena.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

What I did in taking on such a complex but rewarding agenda in business mentoring and writing books was first believe and know that I have more than one purpose in Life. We all have many purposes in this God given Gift of Life, we just have to remain consistent in the quest of finding and connecting with different genres and networking with other likeminded people that are own a projected quest in being productive citizens of society. Hoping to assist many and live in financial liberty and full of inner self peace. With full assurance of victory:

A. I’ve overcame a lot of problems by investing in my knowledge in said areas.
B. Structuring my life and objectives in a way that suites my well-being because if you don’t care about yourself first and take care of self-first you will faulter along the way and not be sufficient enough to help others.
C. When I fall or the pressure of the issues and problems hit me hard, each day I trained myself to get up and pray, make up my bed, get myself ready and move forward no matter what.
D. Finally, always have a contingency plan along with a plan B, C, & D.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

My motto in surviving problems and issues in life is to understand I can only control myself and choose to change myself. I can’t change anyone else. I practice to never have high expectations in people because most of our issues comes by the negative intentions of others. Put very little trust in others efforts, but always operate with others in grace and humility of heart.

I ask for only two things from every association I have or intend to have with people

1. I walk in integrity, so I ask others I’m doing business with to operate in integrity. Because if we are not people of our word, we can’t do good professional business together as a team.
2. I ask for good consistent communication. Because if who I’m doing business with does not communicate effectively, we can never stay on the same page, thus causing confusion.
