We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Andre & Jane Tann a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Andre & Jane thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Andre and I spent years working in the restaurant industry, where we gained invaluable experience but never built (or owned) something bigger. We wanted to created a business we could truly own and scale. After watching Cody Sanchez on Youtube one day, especially the episode she did on Rolling Suds, illuminated a whole different world: service businesses with simple model, high margins, and recurring demand. When she highlighted Rolling Suds, we saw it was not only about power washing, it was a proven, franchisable operation with massive potential. It checked all our boxes: low overhead, scalable, support franchisor, and a chance to build something real.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Me and Andre have worked in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years. We’ve always been hustlers, working long hours, managing people, and giving 100% to someone else’s business. But deep down, we always dreamed of owning something of our own, something we could build together, grow and take pride in.
We started watching Cody Sanchez on Youtube, and her message really stuck with us: there are amazing “Boring” businesses out there that make real money and serve real people. One day she talked about “Rolling Suds”, and it was like a light bulb went off. We did the research, looked into the numbers, and saw that this wasn’t just a side hustle, it was a proven system with massive potential. We were blown away by how fast the brand was growing and how much support franchisees were getting.
Rolling Suds is a power washing company, but they are not just spraying water. They specialize in commercial and residential exterior cleaning- everything from sidewalks and building exteriors to parking garages and multi-story properties. What make them different is that they are their trucks are custom-built with massive tanks and high-powered systems, and their crews are trained with a proprietary wash method that delivers fast, professional results every time.
What really sets Rolling Suds apart- and why we chose them- is their commitment to excellence and growth. They’ve helped dozens of new franchisees scale quickly, and they back that up with real support, marketing, training systems, and tools that works. They’ve already expanded to over 100 units in just a few years and continue growing fast.
We are proud to be a part of this next generation of franchise owners. We’ve gone from working for tips to building a company with a long-term value – not just for us, but for our future families. The work is honest, the clients are happy, and we’re showing our community what it means to take ownership of your life.
What we want potential clients and fans to know is simple: we show up, we do quality work, and we care. We’re not some fly-by-night operation. We’re backed by the most trusted name in the power washing. When you hire Rolling Suds, you’re getting professionalism, reliability, and pride in every job we do.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Our background in the restaurant industry taught us a lot about leadership under pressure- managing fast paced environments, diverse personalities, and high customer expectations. One thing we learned early on is that people don’t just work for a paycheck- they work for purpose, respect, and recognition.
At Rolling Suds, we’ve carried those lessons into our business. Our approach to team management starts with clear communication, setting high standards, and leading by example. We’re not asking our crew to do anything we wouldn’t do ourselves. That builds trust.
To maintain high morale, we focus on creating a positive, accountable culture. We celebrate wins, we provide real-time feedback, and we invest in training so everyone feels competent and confident in their role. Our team knows they’re not just part of a job- they’re part of a growing brand with long-term opportunity.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One story that really stands out happened right at the beginning of our journey with Rolling Suds. Andre and I come from the restaurant world. So when we made the leap into business ownership, we thought we were ready for anything. But nothing prepares you for the first real test.
During our launch phase, a major commercial job we had lined up fell through last minute, It was a big account we were counting on to help us hit our early numbers. We had already invested in equipment, training, and marketing-it felt like a punch to the gut. For a moment, we thought, “Did we make the wrong move?”
But that’s where resilience kicks in. We regrouped that night, reviewed our leads, called every contact we had, and doubled down on canvassing and outreach. Within two weeks, we had filled that gap with even more jobs- some smaller, some new connections- and we ended up building more recurring clients because of it.
That moment reminded us: resilience isn’t about avoiding setbacks- it’s about responding with action, not panic. And thanks to the systems and support from the Rolling Suds team, plus the work ethic we brought from our years in hospitality, we came out stronger, more focused, and even more committed to building a business that lasts.
