Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Scott Galliardt. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Scott, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Patriot CPR & Tactical Training is committed to enhancing public safety through education.
Our courses are designed for individuals and organizations seeking to improve their emergency response capabilities.
With a focus on real-world applications and hands-on training, we prepare our students to respond effectively in any situation.
I grew up in Kansas the son of a career Firefighter and both my parents instilled in me the importance of helping people be the best they can be.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I grew up in Kansas and joined the United States Navy directly out of Buhler High School. I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman and did both shipboard and time with the USMC. I met my wife when we got out after 4+ years, and I obtained my degree as a RN.
I received a United States Air Force Commission as a Nurse Corps officer and worked as a CCATT (Critical Care Air Transport Team) Nurse. I completed a total of 23 years’ Service with active duty, reserve and retired from the Texas Air National Guard.
I am a firm believer in our slogan. “Everyone can be a Hero” I began with teaching CPR and First Aid and this truly allows anyone to save a life. As I have had time doing this, I added my love of firearms, self-defense and safety in my business as these were drilled into me as a young man from my father, a career firefighter.
My goal is to make my classes in firearms and first aid training with safe and low stress atmosphere. I really enjoy working with people new to these classes and hope to inspire them.

How’d you meet your business partner?
My wife, Jennifer, is my cofounder and business partner. We met while serving in the US Navy. We got to see a lot of the world together before getting out and starting our life together. We have been married 36 years. When I decided I wanted to start this business she took money out of her personal savings to invest in me so we could buy the initial equipment. She has always believed in me and supported me.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
The easy answer is one word, Integrity. I will also say you are only as good as your last class. I work hard to ensure I meet the needs of both the medical community, so nurses, doctors and other health care providers have access to our training on their time, as well as do all I can to help veterans.
