We recently connected with Gabriela Kersting and have shared our conversation below.
Gabriela, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission both personally and professionally—is to bring love and joy to people. I deeply believe in the power of affection, and I see my work as a bridge between feelings and distance. When someone chooses to send flowers, they’re not just sending a beautiful arrangement—they’re sending care, presence, and love.
This mission matters so much to me because I truly believe that bringing love or kindness to someone can transform their day, their mood, or even the way they see life. Sometimes, a person is feeling sad or alone, going through a hard time—and when they receive flowers, something shifts. Their mood lifts. They feel seen, remembered, cherished. Flowers have that quiet power to heal, to comfort, and to uplift.
This sensitivity became even stronger when I moved abroad. Starting over in a place where you don’t have your family or the foundation you once had takes courage—but it also takes empathy. You have to redefine yourself, form new bonds, build new friendships. Through this journey, I learned a new way of living and connecting with others: by being kind, by listening, by offering care, by being ambitious not only for my dreams but for the good of the people around me.
This way of living—more human, more loving, more present—is something I carry into everything . Through flowers, I try to show that it is possible to love from afar, to comfort with a gesture, to transform someone’s moment with beauty.
More than floral arrangements, I deliver presence, hope, and love. That is, and always will be, the essence of my mission.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
When I moved abroad from Brazil, I had to reinvent myself. In Brazil , I worked in investments and consulting. But everything changed when I arrived in a new country. My husband, who is a landscape designer, began mentioning that many of his clients had floral arrangements at home. He asked if I had ever thought about exploring that path. Out of curiosity, I signed up for a few floral design courses—and to my surprise, I fell in love with it.
I started by making arrangements for friends. Then one friend told another, and soon the word spread. The business grew organically Today, I create floral designs for weddings, stores, home decor, and events. My work has been featured at places like Aventura Mall, Bal Harbour Shops, the Miami Open, Formula 1, and for several luxury clients in Miami.

for me sell in amazon or etsy doen’t work for me beacause each arrangement is unique.
i don’t do a lot the same like a fabric.
my job has a different philosophy.
