We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lynnae Thompson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lynnae below.
Lynnae, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Opening my own aesthetics practice wasn’t just a career change—it was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken. I walked away from the security of bedside nursing to build something entirely my own, with no guarantees that it would work. I knew I was stepping into an industry that many people don’t fully understand, and I was doing it in a way that stayed true to my values: integrity, healing, and empowerment over hype.
Starting Rejuvenation Station wasn’t just a career pivot; it was a full-blown leap of faith. I didn’t have investors or a safety net. I was a single mom with kids to raise and bills to pay. I invested in advanced training, bought equipment, and opened my doors with nothing but my savings, a deep belief in what I wanted to create, and a mission to make people feel seen, valued, and beautiful in their own skin.
There were so many moments I second-guessed myself—slow weeks, self-doubt, people who didn’t take medical aesthetics seriously. But I held onto my ‘why.’ And then it started to happen: the client who cried happy tears after seeing herself post-treatment. The woman who told me she no longer saw the thing someone made her hate. The people who walked in with shame and left with confidence. That’s when I knew—the risk was worth it.
Today, Rejuvenation Station isn’t just a business. It’s a space where healing and empowerment happen every single day. And I would take that risk again a thousand times over.

Lynnae, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Lynnae Thompson, BSN, RN, and I’m the founder and injector behind Rejuvenation Station, a medical aesthetics practice based in Cabot, Arkansas. I’m a nurse by training—with a background in high-acuity specialties like NICU and PACU—but I found my true calling in helping people reconnect with their confidence and sense of self through aesthetics.
I got into this industry not because I wanted to chase beauty trends, but because I saw how deeply people’s feelings about their appearance can impact their lives. Some walk in with features they’ve been taught to dislike, carrying the weight of comments made years—or decades—ago. My work is about more than smoothing lines or replacing volume. It’s about helping people see themselves differently. Sometimes that’s through injectables like filler or tox. Other times, it’s improving skin tone, texture, or radiance through customized medical-grade skincare, chemical peels, IPL, microneedling, or radiofrequency treatments. We also offer IV therapy and a medical weight loss program with supportive, non-judgmental care.
Every person who walks through our doors gets a personalized treatment plan—never a cookie-cutter approach. We start with a complimentary consultation where we talk honestly about what you love, what you don’t love, and what you want to see in the mirror. From there, we craft a plan that makes sense for your goals, budget, lifestyle, and timeline.
What sets Rejuvenation Station apart is that it’s a no-pressure, uplifting space grounded in integrity and intention. My goal isn’t to upsell or overcorrect. It’s to help you feel like the best version of you—not someone else. We also offer ultrasound-guided filler for high-risk areas, because safety and precision matter.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a title or a product. It’s the moment when someone looks in the mirror and finally sees themselves with kind eyes. When they say they feel confident again. When they cry tears of relief because they no longer see the thing someone once made them hate. That’s when I know we’re doing more than aesthetic treatments—we’re helping people heal.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s this: You don’t need to change who you are—you just need to feel good being who you are. At Rejuvenation Station, we’re here to support you in that. Whether you’re ready to begin a transformation or just need a safe space to start the conversation, we’ll meet you where you are—with expertise, compassion, and care.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I started Rejuvenation Station, I didn’t have a team, a trust fund, or a business degree—I had a vision, grit, and a heart for helping people feel better in their own skin. I was transitioning out of years in bedside nursing, learning the business side of aesthetics from scratch, and doing everything on my own while raising four kids. There were weeks early on when I wondered if I’d made a mistake—when the schedule was light, the pressure was heavy, and I had to convince myself daily that it would all be worth it.
Resilience, for me, wasn’t always loud. It looked like showing up anyway. Learning through every misstep. Taking extra trainings late at night. Reinvesting every dollar I could into making the experience safer, more effective, and more aligned with the values I built this business on. Now, I have a growing client base, a loyal community, and a brand I’m proud of. But none of that came easy—and I think that’s what makes it so meaningful.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Emotional intelligence and integrity are everything in aesthetics. This isn’t just a technical field—it’s deeply personal. People are trusting you with their face, their confidence, and often with insecurities they’ve carried for years. If you can’t listen, connect, and hold space for their story, the work becomes transactional—and that’s not the kind of impact I want to have.
You also need a strong sense of self. This field can be loud—there’s a lot of pressure to chase trends or overcorrect, and you have to know when to stand firm in your values. My clients know they won’t be oversold here. I’m honest, sometimes to a fault, but that honesty is what builds trust and long-term relationships. Skills can be taught. Compassion, ethics, and authenticity—that’s what sets people apart in this industry.
