We recently connected with Kathleen Kirk and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kathleen thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
I recently ran into a client, who came up to me at the grocery store, and with tears in her eyes told me she had had a baby boy. I was so moved, I felt chills go through my whole body and next thing I knew we were hugging in the produce department.
The reason this was so special, was the last time I had seen this client, she was dealing with a lot of work stress and was wanting to get pregnant. I felt like she had some energetic blockages, she took a great nap on my massage table, and when she left she felt cleared and balanced. Apparently, she got pregnant shortly afterwards and credited this to her energy session and her time on the table.
I do believe in miracles, but I also know it’s not ME performing them. I am a conduit to the energy, and I feel blessed to be a part of the healing experience.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello! My name is Kathleen Kirk and I’m the owner of Reset & Renew. I feel like I grew up with energy gifts, but didn’t understand them until I started taking classes in 2010. When that started, I lit up like a light bulb and couldn’t stop. I became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Usui Reiki Master, Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master and to this day, I continue to study multiple modalities.
I think my passion for people sets me apart. When a client comes to me, I want to be able to give them the best experience for their highest good and wholeness. I enjoy facilitating classes and workshops where I can combine my passion for learning with community and form amazing groups. I recently formed a Reiki Group to offer Group Reiki Experiences which are 5-6 masters/practitioners working on one client for an intense session, and I’m very proud of that.
I offer in-person and remote healing sessions, group Reiki experiences, House Clearings and classes (SoulCollage®, art and energy).
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think what helped me build my reputation is always trying to do my best for my clients, not letting set backs stop me and just being consistent. One foot in front of the other, always trying to better myself. If my calendar was empty, I would work on my own energy and make sure I was a clear and open magnet to attract business. The right people will show up at the right time and I had to keep trusting in that.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
This is something I am still very much learning about, but utilizing the internet. Whether through your website, social media platforms, videos, etc. It reaches a much wider audience and people that need you can find you even if you live on opposite ends of the country (or even the world)!
