Alright, DJ thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on has honestly been my entire journey of becoming a professional music producer and DJ. As DJ Funsize, I started like so many — just a kid passionate about electronic music, experimenting in my bedroom, learning DAWs, plugins, and production techniques from scratch. What started as a hobby slowly turned into something much more serious as I dedicated countless hours to studying sound design, arrangement, mixing, and developing my own style — emotional progressive house that blends uplifting energy with deeper, personal emotion.

There were so many moments along the way where I questioned whether I was good enough or if I’d ever break through the noise. But every track I finished, every gig I played, and every fan that connected with my music pushed me forward. It’s meaningful because it represents years of growth, sacrifice, and self-belief. This journey taught me discipline, resilience, and how powerful music can be when it’s authentic. Today, being able to release my own records, perform live, and share my sound with an audience is something I’m incredibly proud of, and it’s only the beginning.

DJ , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m DJ Funsize — a music producer and DJ focused on creating music that connects with people both on and off the dance floor. My journey into music started like many: just a deep love for electronic music and a passion for figuring out how it’s made. What began as experimenting with DAWs in my bedroom quickly turned into an obsession. I spent years learning production, studying sound design, arrangement, mixing, and developing a style that reflects both high energy and real emotion.

What really drives me is creating records that make people feel something — whether it’s a sense of euphoria, nostalgia, or even helping them process emotions they can’t always put into words. That’s the heart of my brand: music that moves you emotionally while still making you want to dance. I draw a lot of influence from artists like Avicii, Martin Garrix, and John Summit — producers who know how to combine powerful melodies with unforgettable drops.

In addition to producing my own original tracks, I also DJ live shows where I curate sets that take the audience on a journey — building moments, high-energy, and unforgettable vibes. My creative work isn’t just about the music itself, but about the full experience — from the studio to the stage.

What sets me apart is that I’m not just chasing trends — I want my songs and brand to resonate personally with listeners, whether they’re driving alone, at the gym, or out with friends at a festival. I believe that when you stay true to your own sound and experiences, people connect with that authenticity.

I’m most proud of how far I’ve come — turning something that was once a dream into a full creative career. I’ve hit #1 spots on playlists, charts, radio and millions of streams/downloads. Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Absolutely. My mission has always been to create music that connects with fans on a personal and emotional level. I want my songs to be more than just something people dance to — I want them to feel seen, understood, and inspired. Whether someone is celebrating, going through a tough moment, or just needs an escape, I aim to create songs that speak to real emotions and life experiences. For me, the most powerful part of music is its ability to bring people together and help them feel something meaningful. That’s what drives me every time I sit down to produce or step on stage to perform

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is the freedom to express myself exactly how I feel in the moment. There are no rules or limits — I can take an idea, an emotion, or even a random spark of inspiration and turn it into something real that others can experience. It’s an outlet where I can be completely honest and creative, and that process is incredibly fulfilling. Knowing that my personal expression can resonate with others and become part of their lives makes it even more meaningful. That is the beauty of being creative. There is no right or wrong answer.
