We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Thomas Anderson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Thomas below.
Thomas, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
What it takes to be successful, to me, is defined by each and every individual reaching for just that. Success. I define it as following your passion, that frequency many around do not feel or see. A dream, a child hood pull towards happiness. I’ve always loved viewing life and yes, darkness through a lens. A tunnel that allows oneself to focus on one specific frame within time and then SNAP, seized a moment. A vision or yes DREAM able to be felt. Viewed, observed by the other beings and other frequencies. Art to me is humiliation and humbling ones self to express their honest soul to the world. Many artist strive for financial success as well and can be very time consuming/a need to maintain constant relevance upon social media, markets and every day life encounters! That to me comes hand and hand with that light. That passion to succeed within creativity. I hope to continue my own personal success within the horror film/photography arena. I’ve started at ground zero and have had some very star struck successful stories unfold before my very own eyes! 💀

Thomas, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Where do I start?
My name is Thomas G. Anderson. Born and raised in Southern Pennsylvania. Mercersburg to Gettysburg to be exact. My small town and cities limited many children’s abilities to consume or should I say “shop/entertain” in public settings. Many farm lands, abandoned buildings, homes and even Indian barrial grounds, haunted attractions with such historical energy you could feel it! I developed an eye for a more macabre dark scenery as well as becoming passionately drawn towards horror vhs covers in the movie rental stores! Yes BlockBuster, Video Den and many small town vhs store shacks! 📼
Throughout high-school I also lo ed skateboarding. I became the “Filmer” & “Photographer” of the crew while diving deep into Photoshop CS1 classes! Loved being able to digitally manipulate or enhance colors, flaws etc. I think you get where this leads too. MySpace time period, models loved my eye began my photography business for 5 years straight, yet still after successful income and taxes etc, I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t successful within my mind! I began to push myself towards my true passions. HORROR creations, concepts and CREEPY CHARACTERS! I’ve lost clientel, moved to California and have had great succes through it all! I’ve one numerous Best Horror Photographer through iHorror.com. I’ve reached an audience through music also, scoring multiple album covers including my most successful one Asking Alexandria The Black album through Sumerian Records Label! 💀
My small town community and friends swelling as myself and family will never forget it! Nor will my followers! I’m slowly rising as the only set back thus far in this industry, to me, is keeping that constant, stable and reliable income! I do my best to balance the day 9 to 5 job for my family. While pushing the dream, the real success and story I want left behind and my support to follow! I love to collaborate, inspire and just manifest art in some creepy, fun, beautiful and shocking way!
If any one reading this is in the slightest intrigued or curious, I invite you! No The Andersons invite you to our twistedly creative wave of magnificent characters and truly hauntingly beautiful story telling through our lens! 📷 🎥

Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
To be honest I’ve minted a few NFTs myself. Did I succeed or sell any, no. Would I try again and create a sellable piece of art. Piece of me, on a blockchain in hopes for success, damn right I would! I’m all for tangible and physical items. I love collecting cds, vhs, DVD, blurays and on and on of MATERIALS. I believe we are all in one HUGE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY BOOM as we speak! It will be a proof of purchase in all of our futures. Matter of time.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I would have to say stay consistent! Consistency is KEY!!! I never gave up my passion. No matter what! Relationship fails. Jobless or slow down in economy. To me this is why success is being in control of our minds. Social media is just like that. If ya don’t exercise you don’t get fit. If you don’t work you don’t get paid. If you don’t post, your not getting seen! My most successful album cover art was seen by the Labeled Band on Instagram then followed an email from their record label! If you reach, humble yourself and just create, the stars will align! 🏆 💫
