We were lucky to catch up with Munira Zahabi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Munira , thanks for joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
The idea for my business didn’t hit all at once. It grew quietly through frustration, curiosity, and years of experience. As someone who’s always been passionate about communication, I kept seeing a pattern: brilliant entrepreneurs with life-changing stories were staying invisible—not because they lacked value, but because they didn’t know how to share it or where to show up.
That’s where the spark came from: What if I could help them give their business a voice—literally?
As a seasoned podcast host of Munira’s Musings, which I’ve run for 9 years, I’d already seen firsthand the power of podcasting to build relationships, create trust, and open doors. Hosting taught me that podcasting isn’t just content—it’s a credibility platform. It’s where thought leadership meets real connection.
So the next day, I started mapping it out:
Who do I want to serve?
What’s stopping them from being visible?
Where are their clients already paying attention?
The answer kept pointing to podcasts.
From there, I tested everything: I became a guest myself, studied great interviews, and refined my message. I also delved deeper into frameworks such as sales psychology, digital marketing, and storytelling. Over time, I built a system to help coaches, consultants, and thought leaders become more than just podcast guests—they became trusted voices of authority.
What I’ve learned is this: communication is the real currency of business. If people don’t hear your voice, they can’t trust your brand. And podcasts give you the platform to build that trust at scale, without the noise, without the fluff.
So today, I help entrepreneurs stop being the best-kept secret. I combine my background in communications, coaching, and podcast hosting to guide them in showing up powerfully, sharing their story, and growing through aligned podcast opportunities.
Because when your message is clear and your voice is in the right room—your business can’t help but grow.

Munira , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Munira Zahabi, also known as The Niche Navigator—a title I proudly claimed to reflect the work I do: helping entrepreneurs find clarity, direction, and visibility in their business.
I began my journey with the Maxwell Leadership Team because I had a deep desire to coach and lead with purpose. While that experience gave me a strong foundation, I wanted to stand out and serve more distinctively. That’s when I created a framework around what I call the three giant steps every business must take:
Finding your niche – building a solid foundation rooted in purpose
Identifying your ideal client – connecting with those you’re meant to serve
Marketing with intention – with podcast guesting as a powerful visibility strategy
I help coaches, consultants, and entrepreneurs transform their voice, story, and expertise into a compelling message that attracts aligned opportunities. As the host of Munira’s Musings for over 9 years, I’ve seen how podcasting gives people a platform to build trust, authority, and lasting connections.
I now use that experience—and my Maxwell training—to help others give their business a voice by becoming standout podcast guests.
What sets me apart is my ability to integrate communication strategy, mindset coaching, and marketing systems into a clear, unified path that moves people forward with confidence.
And what I’m most proud of?
✨ Building a brand that resonates.
✨ Creating a voice through my podcast that continues to inspire and educate.
✨ And most of all, watching the fruits of podcast guesting helps my clients open new doors, gain visibility, and grow their business in ways they never imagined.
At the heart of everything I do is one belief:
You don’t need to shout to stand out—you just need clarity, strategy, and the courage to speak. That’s what I help you build.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What’s helped me build my reputation within my market is simple—but not always easy: being authentic, being vulnerable, and being consistent.
I didn’t build my business by pretending to have all the answers. I built it by showing up—openly sharing my story, my struggles, my wins, and the hard lessons in between. I’ve spoken about coming to America, navigating cultural and personal challenges, building a business while juggling life, and finding my voice in rooms where I once felt invisible. Those moments of honesty have helped people connect with me not just as a coach or strategist—but as a real person.
That’s what builds trust. That’s what people remember.
Consistency has also been key. Whether it’s through my podcast Munira’s Musings, speaking on other shows, or supporting clients behind the scenes, I show up. Not just when it’s convenient or glamorous, but when it matters most. I do the work, and I help others do it too.
When I think about what I want to be remembered for, it’s this:
I want to be known as the woman who helped others find their voice—and use it boldly.
I want to be remembered for helping entrepreneurs stop hiding, step into their niche, and speak to the world with clarity and conviction. Because when we own our stories, we create space for others to do the same. That ripple effect is how change begins—not just in business, but in communities, families, and lives.
And that matters to me because I know what it feels like to be overlooked, underestimated, or dismissed. Giving others a voice—especially women, coaches, authors, and entrepreneurs—isn’t just my mission. It’s my legacy.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building an audience on social media wasn’t an overnight success—it was a journey of curiosity, consistency, and connection.
My inspiration came after reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Three Feet from Gold by Sharon Lechter and Greg Reid. What struck me most was how both authors highlighted the value of mentorship and learning directly from those who had already achieved success. Hill, in particular, interviewed the most successful men of his era—not just to admire them, but to understand how they thought, what they believed, and why they succeeded.
That approach stuck with me. I realized I wanted to do the same: ask people what success meant to them, how they overcame challenges, and what they would tell others trying to do the same. But when I started reaching out, I found that many of these individuals expected a transactional relationship—they wanted me to become a client first. That didn’t discourage me. Instead, it led to an idea: What if I offered them a microphone instead of a checkbook?
That’s how my podcast, Munira’s Musings, was born.
By inviting people to share their story in a meaningful way, I not only gave them a platform to shine—but also built my own credibility in the process. Podcasting allowed me to tap into their audiences, their networks, and their trust. And when even one new listener tuned in, that connection created the potential to double the reach of my message.
From there, I brought that same mindset to social media: be the bridge, not just the brand. Share others. Celebrate their voices. Offer value, not just visibility.
If you’re just starting to build your social media presence, here’s my advice:
Start with curiosity. Ask questions. Highlight others. Make it about the conversation, not just the content.
Use platforms like podcasting strategically. They’re powerful because they let you connect with other people’s audiences—a faster, more authentic way to grow.
Be consistent and sincere. You don’t need to go viral—you need to be valuable.
Remember, your audience grows one person at a time. If one person listens, learns, or shares—you’re already growing.
