We were lucky to catch up with Meagan Glover recently and have shared our conversation below.
Meagan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I wanted to take a moment to personally share the story behind my recent business rebrand.
After receiving a cease and desist from another business regarding the previous name, I was faced with a difficult decision. While I didn’t want to change the name I had built, I knew that spending time and money battling a legal dispute was not the best use of my energy or resources.
Instead, I chose to pivot and embrace a new direction—one that reflects something even more meaningful: me. This new name is a personal brand, a fusion of who I am and what I stand for. It’s a reminder that your brand is a reflection of you—your values, your experiences, your growth—whether that’s perceived in a positive or negative light.
At first, I was skeptical about embracing this personal brand because of the associations that come with it. But as I uncovered my true passion for transforming people’s feet, I found myself going through a personal journey—one that would open doors for me to help changes someone’s life. That has always been the number one goal.
Most people are familiar with the concept of a foot fetish. As a foot model, I was introduced to that world—not through personal interest, but through professional opportunity. This exposure sparked my curiosity, not just about why feet are admired in that space, but about the broader cultural perceptions of feet and the importance of foot health.
Although foot fetishes are often seen as taboo or misunderstood, I began to notice how quickly people judge things they don’t fully understand. Instead of distancing myself, I chose to learn. That perspective shifted my understanding and eventually helped me shape a unique, wellness-centered business.
Now, I proudly merge both worlds—offering not only transformative foot care, but also a deeper understanding of the emotional, psychological, and sensual connections people have with their feet. This brand is a reflection of that full journey: raw, real, and rooted in respect for every step.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As an MNT(Medical Nail Technician), I am a graduate of a program that trained me to recognize (not diagnose) untreated medical issues and to refer clients to physicians (or podiatrists) such as yourself when an abnormality is noted. All my clients are asked to provide a medical history and receive a comprehensive foot assessment prior to any service provided. We establish communication with a physician (podiatrist) when necessary.
I have had extensive education on maintaining an infection-free environment for my clients and use an Autoclave to sterilize my implements.
Many people are having nail services in nail salons and I’m certain you are aware of the potential problems if the salon does not maintain an aseptic environment and utilize sterile implements. I want to assure you that my salon is sanitary, and my implements are autoclaved and safe. Items that cannot be placed in the autoclave, such as nail files, orangewood sticks, buffers and gloves are discarded immediately after use.
My salon offers foot care services (pedicures) with special considerations for at-risk clients. I perform non-medical, SAFE foot care services (pedicures) on clients with medical issues.
