Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miller McCoy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Miller, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear from you about what you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry and why it matters.
Corporate America often treats merchandise and brand extensions as afterthoughts — a checkbox instead of a culture-builder. They focus on margins, SKU counts, and licensing agreements… but completely miss the emotional, community-driven power of product.
The truth is, merch today is the brand. Especially in music, entertainment, and content — the hoodie, the hat, the tee is the album. It’s the tour. It’s the lifestyle. But corporations still approach it like a budget line instead of a creative weapon.
One story that really drives this home: we were approached by a team from a major entertainment group. They had huge talent on their roster, but their “merch” was printed on cheap blanks with zero soul — just logos slapped on tees, generic Shopify stores, and long shipping times. Sales were flat, engagement was worse.
We came in, rebuilt everything — curated product like it was fashion, not just merch. We added special finishes, storytelling in the designs, limited drops, built out their backend and fulfilled orders fast. Sales didn’t just grow — the fans turned into brand advocates, wearing the pieces like uniforms.
Corporate America forgets that merch is culture, and culture doesn’t live on spreadsheets.

Miller, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
About Me & How I Got Started:
I’m Miller McCoy, the founder and CEO of Limitless MFG — a brand incubator, creative agency, and manufacturing engine based in Los Angeles. I didn’t come from corporate — I came from the culture. I’ve always been drawn to design, storytelling, and the emotional power of product. Early on, I realized something most people in business still overlook: a hoodie can tell a story louder than a press release.
I started by helping friends — musicians, content creators, independent brands — make better merch. But I quickly realized they didn’t just need shirts. They needed infrastructure. Direction. A real partner who could help them think like a brand and build like a business. So I built Limitless to be that solution.
What We Do at Limitless MFG:
At our core, Limitless helps creators, musicians, and media-driven brands turn attention into income. We do that through a full-stack approach that covers:
Brand Development
Logos, creative direction, visual identity, packaging, storytelling
Product Development & Manufacturing
Screen printing, embroidery, DTG, cut & sew, global sourcing
E-Commerce & Fulfillment
Shopify builds, warehousing, global shipping, customer service
Tech-Enabled Production
Our proprietary software Omni lets clients track production, orders, and fulfillment in real time
We’re not a print shop. We’re the backend engine for artists and entrepreneurs who want to monetize without becoming a one-hit wonder.
Who We Serve:
Musicians like Action Bronson, CharlieOnnaFriday, Reyna Roberts, Mike., Dave Blunts, AMAG!, and many more who don’t want just merch, but movement-worthy product
Influencers and content creators launching lifestyle brands instead of quick cash-grabs
Brands and media platforms who need a 360-degree partner to bring their vision to life
We’ve produced millions in DTC revenue, scaled brands from zero to sold-out, and built systems that give our clients real control and clarity — not just t-shirts in boxes.
What Sets Us Apart:
What makes Limitless different is our blend of creativity, logistics, and tech. Most companies are either really good at design, or really good at manufacturing, or kind of okay at e-com. We’ve built an integrated system that connects it all.
We understand brand and culture, not just margins.
We care about the feeling behind the product, not just the print file.
We’re creative-led, operations-focused, and growth-obsessed.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I’m most proud of the fact that we’ve helped creators build real businesses. Not just make money — but build something with longevity. Something they can scale. Something that lives beyond a drop.
Watching a client go from unsure about monetizing… to seeing their first sellout… to managing 6-figure product revenue streams — that’s what keeps me going.
What I Want You to Know:
If you’re a creator, artist, brand, or founder — and you’re serious about building something that lasts — Limitless isn’t just a vendor. We’re your partner. We get it. We’ve done it. And we’re ready to help you do the same.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the biggest tests of resilience I’ve faced came during a nationwide tour for one of our major performing artist clients. We had a massive production run in motion — a container full of tour merchandise valued at over a quarter million dollars, all being handled through one of our trusted manufacturing partners in Mexico.
Just days before the first major leg of the tour, we got word that the entire container was being held up — blockaded by forces outside our control, completely inaccessible. No way to retrieve it. No clear timeline for release. And absolutely no time to spare.
At that point, most people would’ve just delayed, pointed fingers, or passed the problem onto the client. But I knew what was at stake — not just money, but trust. Fans don’t care about supply chain issues. And artists shouldn’t have to babysit logistics. So I made the call to re-run the majority of the merchandise in Los Angeles, even though it meant taking on major financial liability and risk — all out of pocket.
We moved fast. Within days, we had new product in motion at an LA facility, teams on-site around the clock, and trucks loading out to meet the tour on time. From the outside, the fans never knew. The artist never had to stress. We took the hit — and absorbed all the chaos — so they didn’t have to.
A month later, the original container was finally released. We were able to plug that inventory back into the tour and push the rest through e-commerce. No waste. No lost opportunity. And more importantly — no lost reputation.
That moment reminded me what it really means to run a brand operation in this industry. It’s not just about creativity or cool designs. It’s about showing up when everything goes sideways, making bold calls under pressure, and protecting your clients like it’s your own name on the line. Because it is.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
Limitless was 100% self-funded — built from the ground up by myself and my two business partners, Stephen Mangini and Brett Schwers, using the last $6,000 we had pooled together. No investors. No outside capital. Just a shared vision, relentless work ethic, and a willingness to bet everything on ourselves.
We didn’t have a blueprint — just determination and a deep belief that creators deserved more than cookie-cutter merch and clunky backend solutions. In the early days, the three of us wore every hat: sales, design, customer service, fulfillment — whatever it took to keep things moving. We made a ton of mistakes. We took on business ignorance debt. But we learned. Fast.
Over the last five years, that $6K startup has grown into a multi-million dollar brand-building engine that not only supports our internal team, but also generates millions annually for our DTC clients and partner brands. We’ve helped artists, entertainers, and content creators turn product into power — creating real businesses, not just hype drops.
We never raised capital. We raised the standard. And everything we’ve built is the result of late nights, hard lessons, and full commitment from three founders who refused to quit.
