Kayne, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I was placed in a woodshop class by accident in my 9th grade year and i enjoyed it. It also happened to be that my mother is a event designer and so i started building her props i eventually got so good at it i decided i should make a business and start making my services public to anyone in need

Kayne, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Kayne Madden, and I’m an ambitious 11th-grade student with a deep passion for carpentry and manufacturing. I’m currently in my third year as a Manufacturing student, where I’ve been developing my skills in creating intricate and functional designs. My journey into this field began through hands-on experience building props for my mother’s Event Design & Photography company. This experience taught me how to merge creativity with craftsmanship and bring unique visions to life.

I specialize in custom carpentry, translating photographs and ideas into tangible, personalized creations. I’m proud of my ability to interpret visual concepts and turn them into practical designs that meet the needs of both individuals and businesses. My goal is to enhance spaces with custom-built elements that reflect personality and style.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?

Yes, when i was going into the 9th grade i got placed into a wood shop class and i enjoyed the class. I learned a lot from the class and i also figured a lot of stuff out on my own and ive been teaching myself to think more into the functionality of the product and making it perfect
