We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gary Lipovetsky. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gary below.
Gary, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
We’ve built out a 20 person team over the last 9 years and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for the business. My wife, Valeria, has a massive following across platforms, and while both of us are strong on the talent and content vision side, we needed people who could fully own the operational side of social: posting, optimization, analyzing trends, and staying relentlessly consistent.
What makes our team great is that they’re not simply administrators executing on our direction, the bring deep strategic thinking rooted in data, understand consumer psychology, and have a strong POV on how to make content stand out in today’s landscape. They’ve helped us evolve beyond what’s worked in the past and test formats that will carry our growth into the future.
We made this choice because social is too important to treat reactively. It’s not just distribution, it’s brand, growth, and community all in one. And when you’re also running multiple businesses (in our case, Valeria Inc., Creator Method, and numerous brand partnerships), you need specialists who treat it like a growth engine, not a side task.
The lesson for other business owners? If you’re serious about content, don’t delegate it to someone who’s just “good enough.” You need someone who lives and breathes the platform. It’s not just about aesthetics or consistency, it’s about understanding what drives discovery, conversion, and brand trust today.
Also, be prepared to stay involved. Even with our full time team of 20, we’re in constant communication. The best results come when strategy and talent are fully aligned.

Gary, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Gary Lipovetsky, entrepreneur, investor, and co-founder of Valeria Inc. and Creator Method. My path into this world started nearly a decade ago when I began helping my wife, Valeria Lipovetsky, grow what was then a small personal blog into a global content platform that now reaches hundreds of millions of people each month. Along the way, we built a business around her brand that’s generated millions in revenue, launched product collaborations, and built a team of 20 full-time professionals.
Our work at Valeria Inc. focuses on premium brand partnerships, social-first video and podcast production, and creative content development that blends storytelling with measurable results. We work with global brands that want deep audience resonance, not just reach. We specialize in large-scale awareness campaigns that integrate seamlessly into Valeria’s organic content and generate long-term brand affinity, which is essential in an industry obsessed with short-term conversions. Meaning, advertisers understand that performance marketing isn’t only fueled by budgets and creatives, they require branding as an essential component.
From that foundation, I co-founded Creator Method, a private membership-based community and educational platform for Content Creators. We’ve helped hundreds of Creators scale their audiences and businesses through curated video tutorials, live weekly calls, private events, and a supportive network of peers. What sets Creator Method apart is that it’s not theoretical, it’s built on the exact strategies we’ve used to grow a Creator-led business from zero to millions.
I work closely with Creators who are either just starting out or looking to scale, guiding them on content strategy, pricing, brand deals, and overall monetization. We’ve created over 100 video tutorials and counting, and what I’m most proud of is that the impact is real. Members quit their jobs, find financial independence, and build lives around what they’re passionate about.
What I want people to know is: I believe in Creators. I’ve seen firsthand how this path can change lives, not just financially, but in terms of purpose, freedom, and legacy. Whether it’s building a personal brand, landing high-value brand deals, or creating content that resonates on a global scale, everything I do is centered around helping Creators and brands grow with clarity, creativity, and integrity.
If you’re a founder or a brand, we can help you connect to real audiences through content that converts emotion into trust. If you’re a Creator, we’ve built the infrastructure to help you thrive, without needing millions of followers.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One story that defines my resilience is the journey Valeria and I took to build her personal brand. It’s a journey that’s now spanned nearly a decade. When we started, there was no roadmap. Just conviction. We believed in her voice and the impact she could have, but getting from a simple blog to a platform that reaches hundreds of millions of people took nine years of relentless effort, reinvention, and navigating every challenge imaginable.
What most people don’t see is what it took behind the scenes. We faced data challenges, trying to understand what content would resonate and how to scale it. We faced financial challenges, especially early on, making bets on the future before there were results to back them. We built a team from scratch, dealt with countless logistical issues, and evolved constantly as the platforms and industry changed.
But the biggest shift for me personally was a humbling one. In my late 30s, I had been the CEO of a company with 400 employees, which I was the founder of. Fast forward to age 44, and I was starting again from the ground up, this time with Valeria. I became the accountant, the videographer, the photographer, the scriptwriter, whatever the business needed, I did it. No ego. Just belief in the mission.
That experience taught me more than any prior role. It reminded me that resilience isn’t loud, it’s quiet consistency, day after day, doing whatever it takes, even when nobody is watching and the payoff feels uncertain. And I’m proud of that. Because it’s what built the foundation for everything we’ve done since.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Back in 2017, $10,000 unexpectedly appeared in the joint bank account Valeria and I shared. I asked her where it came from, and she told me it was from a brand partnership, at a time when she only had a few tens of thousands of followers on social media. That moment was a turning point.
We looked at that $10,000 as more than just income, it was proof of concept. It told us there was real value in her voice, her content, and the connection she was building with her audience. So instead of treating it like a one-off, we made a decision: invest it back into the business.
We used that initial “funding” to hire a videographer, which freed Valeria to spend more time in front of the camera and more time diving deep into the topics she cared about, her content pillars. That small shift allowed her to create more intentionally and consistently, and it completely changed the trajectory of the brand.
Fast forward to today, and that $10,000 turned into a business that generates millions of dollars a year through brand partnerships. It also laid the foundation for Creator Method, our private Creator community and academy that now has over 300 paying members.
We didn’t raise money. We didn’t take on investors. We bet on ourselves. And that early decision to reinvest instead of extract made all the difference.
