We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chantelle Fulce a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Chantelle , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I hope my legacy is one of impact, creativity, innovator, a philanthropist and heart. I want people to say that I made space for others to shine, that I inspired artists and creatives to believe in themselves and take bold steps toward their purpose. I want to be remembered not just for the art I created or the businesses I built, but for how I uplifted others along the way. That I poured into my community, that I made people feel seen and supported, and that I used my voice to open doors for those who came after me. Ultimately, I want my life to be a reminder that creativity isn’t just about talent, it’s about transformation. My overall goal is to leave this legacy with my children and their children, and generations to come. Generational wealth, community impact, and being apart of life changing circumstances in a positive and impactful way.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
CEV Art Gallery is more than just a gallery, it’s a movement, a space that celebrates culture, creativity, and the power of storytelling through visual art. We exist to amplify the voices of underrepresented artists, provide mentorship and education, and create a global platform where creativity meets purpose. What sets us apart is our commitment to showcasing over 3,000 diverse exhibits over the next three years while also offering free resources, scholarships, and artist residencies to nurture the next generation of creatives.
We’re not only passionate about art, we’re passionate about impact. We’re building a virtual 3D gallery experience, accessible from anywhere in the world, and focused on inspiring connection, growth, and opportunity for artists at every stage of their journey.
Getting to where we are today has been a mix of vision, faith, and relentless perseverance. It has not been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, there were seasons of doubt, financial limitations, and moments where I had to pause and refocus. But my “why” was always greater than the setbacks. I knew this mission was bigger than me, it was about giving artists a platform to be seen, valued, and supported.
I overcame challenges by staying rooted in community, being resourceful, and learning to pivot without giving up. I leaned into digital innovation, collaborative opportunities, and the power of storytelling to carry this vision forward. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth takes time, but every step is worth it when you stay aligned with your purpose.
What I want the world to know about CEV Art Gallery is that we’re not just showcasing art, we’re changing lives. We are driven by purpose, fueled by creativity, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a space to be seen and celebrated. Our brand is built on excellence, authenticity, and elevation.
This is only the beginning. CEV Art Gallery is here to disrupt the norm, uplift the culture, and leave a legacy that inspires for generations to come.
Some services that we offer are podcast interviews, prizes for exhibition and international contest, courses, free art business resources and volunteer residencies.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Honestly, funding my business was all about hustle, patience, and believing in the bigger vision. I didn’t have investors or a big savings account to fall back on, I had to get creative. I drove for Uber Eats to earn extra income, and every time I got paid, I’d put a portion aside specifically for my business. I also started selling my own artwork, as an abstract artist just to reinvest into better supplies, tech, and tools I needed to grow.
It wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to prioritize, budget, and stay committed. Every dollar I earned and saved had purpose behind it. Looking back, that season gave me grit and it taught me faith. It made me resourceful and confident in the journey, not just the outcome.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
As a curator, the most rewarding part is creating spaces where artists’ voices can truly be seen, heard, and felt. I love bringing together diverse works that tell powerful stories and watching how people interact with them, how a piece can spark emotion, reflection, or even healing. It’s fulfilling to know that I’m helping build a platform where underrepresented artists can thrive and where the community can experience art in a meaningful way. For me, it’s about connection, culture, and impact. Curating isn’t just about arranging art; it’s about amplifying voices and creating moments that stay with people long after they leave the gallery. It is also rewarding, knowing that CEV Art Gallery was the bridge for further opportunities for other outlets to promote their work, such as article features, online publications, art residencies, art sales and so much more.
