We were lucky to catch up with Lilou Grasser recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lilou, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I started dancing when I was three years old. My parents have always been in artistic environments, so I grew up surrounded by creativity. As a child, I wasn’t just dancing. I was also doing theater, musical comedy, singing, playing music, drawing, and exploring all kinds of arts and crafts.
From a very young age, I was handed a camera to explore and play. I still remember creating my first stop-motion video at six years old. It felt magical to bring stories to life, even in the simplest way.
So when social media platforms started becoming a thing, it felt natural for me to share what I was already creating: little videos, mini films, and photos. I realized there were people out there who connected with what I was expressing, and that’s when it all clicked. Creating and sharing wasn’t just something I loved, it was something I was meant to do.

Lilou, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a French content creator and community manager passionate about turning creativity into connection. What started as a childhood filled with artistic exploration has evolved into a desire to build a meaningful career through digital media. I’m now focused on developing my work not only as a creator but also as a strategist, helping brands and projects grow online. Whether through content creation or community building, I aim to merge my love for dance, storytelling, lifestyle, and travel with a clear professional vision.
Over time, that passion naturally evolved into digital content creation. I started building a presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, combining my background in dance, musical theater, and visual arts with my love for storytelling. My content mixes movement, lifestyle, humor, and childhood nostalgia, often inspired by the artistic joy I felt growing up.
Today, I create short-form video content and visual stories for both my personal brand and for clients. I help brands connect emotionally with their audiences through playful, heartfelt, or dynamic content that stands out on social media. I also work with children through artistic projects and shows, especially during holidays or in resort entertainment settings.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend performance and strategy. I don’t just film a trend. I create an experience. I know how to use visual rhythm, music, and emotion to make content that resonates and creates connection.
I’m most proud of being able to stay true to my artistic roots while reaching thousands of people around the world. Whether it’s a dance, a behind-the-scenes video, or a kids’ musical I helped direct, I always aim to spark joy, curiosity, and inspiration.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media happened step by step, and honestly, quite naturally. I started by sharing things I loved like dance, behind-the-scenes moments from my artistic projects, travel memories, and funny little ideas that came to me. I never focused only on going viral. I focused on sharing something real that felt like me.
What helped the most was consistency, creativity, and staying present. I interacted with my community, experimented with new formats, and learned to edit in a way that matched my energy and vision. When something didn’t work, I didn’t overthink it. I simply moved on and tried something else.
My advice is to avoid copying others. Start by asking yourself what you love doing, what stories you want to tell, and what kind of people you want to reach. Stay consistent, but don’t forget to have fun with it. Your personality is your biggest strength.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes. My goal is to use creativity as a way to build connection. I want to connect with kids, with audiences, with brands, and with people who might feel inspired, even for just a few seconds. I hope to bring joy, movement, and storytelling into people’s lives through dance, artistic content, and feel-good videos that feel authentic and human.
I also want to make this path sustainable. I’m building a career that mixes artistic expression with strategy and meaning, whether I’m creating content, managing communities, or directing shows. My mission is to keep creating from a place of joy and purpose, while helping others grow and feel seen.
