Althea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with talking about how you serve the underserved, because in our view this is one of the most important things the small business community does for society – by serving those who the giant corporations ignore, small business helps create a more inclusive and just world for all of us.

D&A Elite Media serves a vast amount of very talented individuals that well deserve a spotlight. We provide interviews on D&A Live, The DJ Enjetic Show, highlight them on www.power1049li.com or on www.daradio937.com and on all of our affiliated radio stations around the U.S. and abroad, which are also played 24/7 on iheartradio app, and can be viewed on Roku, AppleTV etc., We provide outlets for these talented artists to shine. These artists may not have the outlet, or connections to do so, and that is where we come in. We do not stop with artists we have grown to admire and who have an undiscovered talent. We have placed ourselves with a great responsibility, and that is serving those who deserve to be served with life’s greatest rewards. We work with those with an undeniable talent, work ethic and determination in an industry that does not always work with such and instead opt for fads and plants. We hope that one day, the industry will fall back on it predecessors, and actually engage with those talented individuals that are behind the curtain, and allow them to serve the music industry with their art and love for music.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

D&A (Danny & Althea) was initially created to promote and highlight the career of Danny “Enjetic” Rivera. Danny aka “DJ Enjetic” is a longtime rap artist, dj and podcaster and we created D&A to showcase his talent. After our first year of D&A Live which is a podcast on Sunday nights at 8pm, we encountered many individuals that would inquire about what we do, how we did it, and how they can get to that next level. In turn, we decided to showcase more independents on our show, and created a platform for them. Week after week, our audience grew, our clientele grew, and we then acquired radio station affiliates in the U.S. and abroad that would broadcast our show on a weekly basis and continue to do so. We developed a system and created D&A Elite Media, to help independent artists in all facets of the industry. Danny Rivera being in the music industry since the age of 11, continues to guide and promote independent artists and is a great inspirational tool for any that come in contact. We continue to grow our arsenal, and we enjoy our continued success as we encounter so many vast talented individuals that enter our circle.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

One night I was enjoying karaoke with friends. On our way back home, we met up with other individuals at a diner on the way home. Danny was one of the individuals at the table. At first, thought nothing of it, but him and his brother (this is hysterical) were trying to interest me in buying a car. I was thinking about upgrading my vehicle. As they tried their best pitch, (and this went on for some time at the diner) I kindly declined the offer, but Danny still left me his card just in case. After several days of still trying to pitch that car, I kindly declined, and said that ” I will let you know” but right now I am not interested. In turn, Danny said ” Okay that is fine, but if you not interested in the car right now, would you be interested in dinner with me? I agreed, thinking, what could a night out hurt? And we both never looked back since. Day after day, we grew closer, and realized there was something special emerging. And here we are. D&A Elite Media, D&A Live, DJ Enjetic Show, and Freestyle Spectacular….It is and continues to be an interesting and delightful journey!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building an audience is quite simple. Engage. Do not just sit back and wait for a viral moment on Tik Tok or any other platform. Just because you click a button, that is not the only work you need to do in order to gain more followers and viewers. You need to engage, Whether it is an open mic, or showcase event and in every aspect of your life. Create content to keep those engaged in your travels and promote yourself at any given time. D&A attended most events in the industry, created connections, and content and engaged our audience. That is what D&A helps with, and continues to do so.
