We were lucky to catch up with Trinket recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Trinket thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
MoreLyfe was inspired by a personal health journey that began twelve years ago. Doctors had told me I wouldn’t be able to carry a pregnancy to term. After having fibroids removed in 2010, along with facing other uterine challenges, I stopped eating chicken and limited my diary intake to cheese. By 2012, my fibroids returned with a vengeance. In 2013, my then-boyfriend and I traveled to South Africa for 30 days and experienced the benefits of a non-processed, mostly plant-based diet. Back in NYC, we adopted a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables to replicate what we experienced in South Africa. I then tested my girlfriend’s new 30-day cleanse program, resulting in an internal and external makeover. Less than a month later, we were surprisingly pregnant. My fibroids began to degenerate and were gone by the seventh month. Transitioning to a fully plant-based diet healed me, and our son – Gnarley Jo is proof of the benefits of dietary changes. MoreLyfe Juice Co is our gift to the community, showing that food is the best preventive medicine and that one shift can give you MoreLyfe

Trinket, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
At MoreLyfe Juice Co., everything we serve is made in-house and rooted in intentional healing. We go beyond blending fruits and vegetables—each product is infused with herbs, spices, and natural ingredients known to support the body’s vitality. From our juices to our bowls and patties, every item is prepared with care and purpose.
What truly sets us apart is the energy behind the experience. We speak MoreLyfe—we speak healing. That means preparing every order with love, greeting our customers by name, remembering their favorite blends, and offering words of affirmation when we serve their food. Our space is more than a juice bar—it’s a place of connection, community, and nourishment for the mind, body, and soul.
What are you most proud of, and what do you want people to know about you and your brand?
I’m most proud of launching MoreLyfe Juice Co. with no restaurant experience—just a vision, a purpose, and a commitment to wellness. Despite the odds, we created a product and a space that people truly love.
On January 2, 2025—the day before we were scheduled to reopen after the holidays—a car crashed into MoreLyfe, forcing us to close for four months. This happened after months of dramatic sales declines due to ongoing road construction on Cascade Road. We were literally sandwiched between consturction sites, and our daily sales dropped by over 60%.
But through it all, our community never left. They showed up—physically, emotionally, and virtually. From stopping by the construction site just to check in, to sending DMs, emails, and phone calls—their love never wavered. And when we reopened, they returned like we had never closed.
In a climate where small businesses are facing real challenges, it’s our community that inspires me to keep going. I have big plans for MoreLyfe—and it’s because of our community’s loyalty, belief, and encouragement that I know we’ll succeed. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. MoreLyfe is bigger than drinks and bites—it’s about resilience, healing, and real connection.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
MoreLyfe’s reputation has been built on two things: love and consistency. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’re greeted like family. When you receive your order, it comes with a smile, a word of encouragement, and a whole lot of heart. And when you take that first sip—you’re tasting something that activates all your senses. It’s just good.
Of course, we’re human. Like anyone else, we have highs and lows. But no matter what, our foundation is love—and that’s what our customers receive on every visit.
In a time where everything is becoming automated, rushed, and transactional, we’re intentional about doing the opposite. We’ve created a space that feels personal, thoughtful, and real. Our ingredients are pure, our service is intentional, and our mission is to serve wellness—one customer, one cup, and one moment of connection at a time.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My cofounder was actually my fiancé at the time. When we first started dating, we bonded over music and big ideas. He’d been an entrepreneur since his teens. I had always envisioned having a family business, but it was just a dream I hadn’t acted on yet. When we lived in New York, green juices and smoothies were a regular part of my daily routine. He introduced me to his favorite smoothie shop in Brooklyn—Punch Line. They made the absolute best smoothies ever! That experience sparked something in both of us, and we started throwing around ideas for our own juice bar. We even came up with a name and maybe even a logo.
Fast forward to when we moved to Atlanta while I was seven months pregnant, we decided I’d stay home for a few years to raise our son. Four years later, it was time for me to return to work. One afternoon, I spotted a vacant space in our neighborhood I loved and showed it to him. I was thinking small, but he encouraged me to go bigger—to dream a little bolder and consider the larger space at the front of the building with more visibility. As I got deeper into planning, I reflected on my dream of building a family business and asked him to partner with me. If it weren’t for his investment in me—and his connections through his restaurant ventures, —MoreLyfe might still be just an idea. He helped turn a vision into something tangible, and together, we built MoreLyfe from the ground up.
