We were lucky to catch up with Arie Little recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Arie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I love being a music artist. Meeting new people, creating relationships, learning new skills and being creative. It truly makes me happy. I am currently an up and coming high school senior. I have had several thoughts about having another career outside of music. I really want to study communications in college to go into the sports industry. I would love to pursue sports management. I think about this almost everyday. Especially since I’m looking into colleges to see who has the best communications program.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Arie Little. I am a 17 year old music artist in Memphis Tn. I play soccer. I’m an up and coming senior. Class of 26! I started off in the modeling industry and decided that I wanted to try singing. I tried singing and that didn’t work out so I started rapping. I’ve been rapping for 7 years now. All of my music is clean, fun and up-lifting. I performed at the Grizzlies game twice, 901 day, Memphis Hip-Hop awards and teen fest. I want people to know me as a positive light. I want people to remember me as the girl who was always uplifting and helping others.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a music artist is people willing to pour into me. People willing to work with me and help me build my career. From producers to promoters to management teams! I appreciate everybody that has helped me get to where I am today. It’s only going up from here!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I really want people to know me as a positive impact on the world. I love making music and being in the creative space. Since all of my music is clean and fun it’s a two in one! I can do what I love and also encourage and entertain people with my music.
