We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Vikter Solis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Vikter below.
Vikter, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about one of the craziest things you’ve experienced in your journey so far.
Let me tell you about the craziest experience I’ve ever had with a client! Normally, when I meet clients, I’ll give them my contact information and tell them if they have questions or think of something later to feel free to get in touch and we can chat about it! Now with this preface, let me set the scene.
I had a client walk into the shop, and I read for her, and she was pleased with her reading. She paid, and I gave her one of my business cards and said, “Here’s my contact info, if you think of something later or have a question.” She obliged and took my card. So, fast forward a couple of days to Friday. I get home from Bewitched, ready to relax, when my phone rings — and it displays “unknown,” no identifying information whatsoever. So, I forward the call to voicemail — and it rings another 2 times. On the third call, I answered, and it was the same client I read for earlier in the week. She said she had an emergency, and I asked if she was okay and if she was safe. She assured that she was safe and needed a reading right then and there. At this point, it was almost 8:30 PM. I said to her, I’m so sorry, but the shop is closed, and I’m at home. She interrupted me and said I could come to your place. Reluctantly, I agreed and gave her my address. What felt like a minute passed when I heard a knock on my front door.
I walked up to the front door, and sure enough, it was her. She quickly came into my home, and I led her to the reading room I had set up. She sat down and began her regular ritual: she’d shuffle 13 times. I offered her a bottle of water and when I got back with it, she was finished shuffling. I drew the cards and laid them down, went through the entire reading — to which she interrupted me and said, very confidently, “This is NOT for me. You must have channelled someone else.” I took a quick photo and said, “No, pretty sure this is for you, unless you were thinking about someone else.” She brushed it off and said, “No, let me shuffle again.” Shuffled again 13 times and wouldn’t you know it we drew the exact same cards… in the exact same spot. A HUGE indicator that that message was indeed for her. She again looked at me and repeated herself.
At this point, I’m convinced this is a message she *needs* to hear, however, she was being so reluctant to listen to what that message was. So, I said to her, “Go ahead and choose another deck, and pull it from the shelf, take it out of the box and shuffle.” I didn’t even touch the cards, and we pulled the same cards that were drawn… in the exact same order. This happened again with another 3 decks, bringing the grand total of repeated cards in the same spot to a grand total of 5 times, with 4 different tarot decks. I told her that it was a statistical improbability that she received the same cards in the same spot 5 times in a row. The message was coming in, but she was refusing to listen. She angrily got up and threw some money on the table, and stormed out of my house.
I sent a message and got no reply. In fact, there was radio silence for a long time. Three or four months later, I received another call from an “unknown” number, and you guessed it, it was her. She said she was calling to apologize for how things were left the last time we spoke, and that she should have listened because that message was indeed for her. She informed me that she had narrowly escaped a DV situation that escalated to having law enforcement involvement. But that she was safe and would be returning home out of state to live with family.
This experience has stuck with me because we never know what we’re going to encounter, and we should always be ready for extremes like this. I was flabbergasted at her story and what happened. I’m relieved to know she’s okay, and hopefully is living her best life somewhere. Experiences like this keep me going and remind me that I’m in the place where I’m meant to be helping those I’m meant to help.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Since the last time we spoke, a lot has changed! I have made some major internal changes and have emerged with this new concept. Originally, the start to the business came from taking traditional approaches to home remedies and giving them a modern twist! I initially learned all I could from my late grandmother and great-grandmother regarding what herbs could be used to treat whatever symptoms we faced. Through intense research, I modernized a delivery system into soaks and bathbombs, and then kind of grew from there. But as time has progressed, I’ve grown to far more than just products. I am certified in trauma-informed care, so I take that approach as the core foundation to the services that I offer. I offer guidance and support. Clarity and insight when it’s needed most. The best way to describe what I do is that:
I am a mystic rooted in the sacred rhythm of healing—walking between worlds with reverence and intention. Guided by intuition and a deep calling to serve, I offer tarot as a mirror for the soul, sound healing as a balm for the spirit, and mentorship as a path back to the self. My work is a weaving of presence and practice, creating space where truth can rise gently and transformation unfolds with grace. With every reading, every vibration, every shared moment of reflection, I invite others to journey inward—to the quiet places where their own light is waiting, and the soul begins to speak.
Often times my clients (who walk out of our sessions as friends) will come in seeking guidance or insight into whatever situation they are facing, and our sessions help bring that insight and that clarity they are seeking. A session is more than just turning over cards and interpreting the meaning — it’s about holding space to have conversations with ourselves to find the answers our subconscious mind is seeking.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
So let’s talk resilience. This is a word that I’ve faced and lived so many times. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it almost feels like life has been in a constant state of adapt or perish. Whether it’s major changes in the working world that have taken me from having a side hustle to making this my full-time career path, there have always been moments of fear and doubt. I was working a full-time teaching job at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth before the pandemic hit — and since then I’ve turned my focus onto my business as a means to heal — but also to thrive.
I will admit, sometimes times are rough and it’s slow, but we learn to adapt and push through. As a seasoned tarot consultant, I can’t help but think of these moments as “tower moments”. So much so that I’d like to share a little excerpt from the book on Tarot that I’m writing. This is for anyone out there in moments like these:
“The gift of The Tower is the freedom to rebuild your life on truth. Hard-won, soul-deep, unshakeable truth. This card marks the moment when you begin to understand that safety built on illusion was never safety at all. But take heart: you are not cursed—you are being called. Called to live more honestly, more boldly, more awake. What falls away now was never yours to hold forever. What remains will be real. And what comes next will be yours to shape with sovereign clarity.”
These moments allow us to see through the illusion that sometimes clouds our true vision. These moments allow us to illuminate the darkness so that we’re able to see through the storm.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think one of the most important things in building a reputation is community. One of the things I always say to new clients is that they walk in as a client and walk out as a friend. Every reading has a point where I’ll tell them, “I’m always in your corner.” Having and fostering genuine connections like that is what sets one apart from the others out there. It also helps to ensure that one creates a warm and inviting environment where folks can come in and feel safe, heard, and seen. One of the most important values that I keep is in a pledge I took that I will share:
I pledge to honor the sacred nature of tarot as a tool for healing, insight, and empowerment. I will treat each querent with respect, compassion, and confidentiality. I will seek to guide, never manipulate; to illuminate, never impose. I understand that my role is to hold space—not to control outcomes. I vow to practice with integrity, remain in service to the highest good, and to walk this path with humility, honesty, and care.
Outside of this pledge in my professional world, I try to align myself to it in my everyday life, and that leads me to live a life filled with warmth and integrity, and I think that it reflects in my world. As a major component of that authenticity, I also volunteer a lot within my community and that helps build a sense of community.
