We were lucky to catch up with Prophet TheMoney recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Prophet, thanks for joining us today. Who is your hero and why? What lessons have you learned from them and how have they influenced your journey?
Ebri Yahloe. She’s my sister , my motivator , my kick in the behind if you wanna call it that . From bathtubs to fast bucks we’ve been together through it all together . She has always pushed me to be the best that I can be and if someone doesn’t like that, she always lmk that she has my back no matter what . She put me on to the job that I have now , at a nonprofit organization called WE AMPLIFY VOICES , which serves underserved communities and neighborhood as a place to do art , escape the streets , Or just overall resources if need be , I lead a summer program for them and I coach little league football for the exact team I played for when I was younger.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Hated my job. Had to walk out. Very long story and would tell that.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In 2020 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer . I was absolutely terrified to lose her at that time . Not knowing what the future would hold for me I turned to the person who at that time was my support system . That person lead me down a vicious path of abusing drugs , drinking everynight , and partying all the time. It took until the end of COVID lockdown for me to actually see the damage that had been done to my body, mind, and the relationships I had with others.
So I changed my life . It took a few years for me to get it all back together , and I’m still not where I want to be in life but, I changed and that’s the only lesson that matters. Change can be scary , but most of the time it’s for the better. In my case , it was for the best. Now I’m a father to 3 beautiful, smart, and loving children, a football coach, A Mentor, and many more things ! Follow your dreams . Be you .
