We recently connected with Alessio Lacco and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Alessio, thanks for joining us today. Would you say you are more focused on growing revenue or cutting costs? We’d love to hear how you think about these two critical drivers
Our company goal is ultimately growing and diversifying our revenue. In these times it is difficult not being tempted to cut costs on some ends, but we firmly prioritize offering a high quality product with the most authentic ingredients, even if it means having to adjust some costs in the process.

Alessio, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Pizza had always been a part of my life as I am from the city where pizza was born, Naples, Italy. I started to make pizzas at the age of 15 in my hometown and haven’t stop learning since then. I graduated from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) as a Master Pizzaiolo.
I came to the US and managed and helped to open several restaurants around the country and internationally.
My wife and I decided to start our business in 2020 during the pandemic. We wanted to bring a little taste of Italy to every place of Atlanta.
We are very proud of going the extra mile with our catering service and offering a true Italian experience.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
As a business we are very detail oriented and try to meet the needs that our customers have. Every person is different, some already have experience with catering services and for some is their first time, so we try to provide as much information as possible and to go the extra mile with their needs. Our responsiveness and responsibility with our commitments are two of the main things our customers praise about us.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Yes. Me and my wife had other jobs before starting with our business. We were thinking into starting part time with a couple events per month. However, when the pandemic started, we were laid off and lost our jobs. That pushed us to start the business as full timers and even after everything has gone back to “normal” labor wise, we have already a stable job with our business.
