We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Hollywood Fizz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hollywood , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

During covid, I wasn’t getting any auditions and I was tired of dreaming of award shows while sitting on the couch. So, I got up.. I used the stimulus check money to invest into a Sony A7s II , and I haven’t looked back since. Created a ton of opportunities for my self and others.

My name is Hollywood Fizz, I’m a actor, writer , producer and director. I’m a over all creative! I produced and shot tons of amazing projects. Worked with the likes of comedy hype, Steve Harvey , Ect.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

I come from the bottom. I’m a trench baby for sure. Been homeless, abuse, ect…but that built me for the grind. Growing up in that environment and circumstances taught me to be the hero of my own story. It gave me tough skin.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn the fear of putting my self out there. I use to be scared to show my work. I had to unlearn that..I had to learn that there trillions of people on this earth…somebody out there going to Rock with something you created.
