Ryan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea?
I’ve always had a passion to go beyond just working with my session clients, in the studio. I often found myself wanting to assist in the process of developing the artists, wanting to know the artists’ well-being, and bringing the best out of the artists. I’ve always admired Berry Gordy and his innovative rise of Motown. From there, I saw myself moving in that space and helping the rise and development of some amazing talent.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a musician, producer, and label owner born and raised in Tampa, Fl. I got into the industry from my early risings. My mother and grandfather were both musicians and it brushed off on me. I’ve been blessed to travel around the world through my gift of music and I want to continue to assist in bringing other musicians and artists vision to life.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn that I can control everything when I have a team in place! It was, and still is an adjustment to get use to but I’m learning daily and enjoying the journey
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
I met my business partners through an opportunity when I had to fill in for a fellow musician at church. The couple attended the church, and I now play there to this day. We connected, stayed in touch, and the rest is literally history.
