Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Emily Jane. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Emily, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
When my father-in-law suffered a stroke, it turned our world upside down. I stepped away from my clinic for nine months to care for him full-time, pouring everything I had into his recovery and helping him build a new version of “normal.” I discovered that my calling wasn’t just treating day-to-day ailments—it was being a steady support for those whose lives had been instantly and profoundly changed. That defining chapter in my personal life inspired me to pursue specialized education in stroke, traumatic brain injury, and chemo-radiation side effects, so I could offer deeper more meaningful healing to others facing life after trauma. That time with him lit a fire in me to make a major shift in my career to deepen my practice—not just to treat, but to truly walk alongside others in their most vulnerable moments and help them regain not just function, but joy, purpose, and the ability to truly live again.
Emily, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was first introduced to Chinese medicine when I was at my wits’ end with my own health. After trying everything and seeing no results through conventional Western medicine, I turned to acupuncture out of desperation—and it changed everything. After just a few treatments, my quality of life drastically improved. I felt better than I had in years, and it happened so quickly that it truly blew my mind. I knew I had to dedicate my life to helping others find that same hope and healing.
What many people don’t realize is that we’re a true family practice—treating patients of all ages with care that’s tailored to each individual. Our services include acupuncture, natural alternative medicine and injectables, nutrient therapy, and cupping. We treat a wide range of conditions, from strokes, TBI, and cancer side effects to migraines, digestive disorders, fertility support, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
What truly sets us apart is the way we care for our patients. We take the time to listen to you, understand your concerns and goals, and present clear, honest options on how we can help. We ask how we can best support you and then we follow through with compassion and consistency and that we are proud of too. It’s not just about treatment; it’s about building real relationships and being a trusted partner in your healing journey.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
Absolutely! There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing hope restored in someone who has been struggling or suffering for so long. It’s a true privilege to support and walk alongside people on their healing journey as they reclaim their health and their lives.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has definitely been patient referrals and building strong relationships with local doctors in the areas I specialize in. When patients experience real, lasting results, they naturally want to share that with friends and family—and that word-of-mouth has been incredibly powerful. At the same time, connecting with physicians who treat stroke, TBI, cancer, and other complex conditions has allowed us to create a more collaborative approach to care, which not only benefits the patient but also builds trust and credibility within the medical community.
