We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Inna Tauglich, PhD, MPH, Dip. LLC a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Inna , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
As a child, I had a deep love for reading. Though we lived in a tiny apartment, it felt like a vast library. Books were everywhere: peeking through the glass doors of tall bookcases, lining shelves from top to bottom in the bedroom, and even stacked in the kitchen. I explored a wide range of genres, from the works of Stefan Zweig, Jules Verne, Stendhal, Chekhov, Pushkin, and Yesenin to fairy tales from around the world. That hunger for reading never faded. As an adult, it evolved into a passion for writing. When I chose a career in healthcare, I found a way to merge my love for writing with a commitment to education.
I have published two books: Elephant Zee and Magic Pyramid intended for kids 5 and up, which is available on online Amazon and Barns and Noble stores; and Grace and Jack Beam’s Adventure to Yummy Land, for young readers of 3-6 years of age, which is available on Amazon. These books delighted young readers and helped families foster better eating habits.
Currently, I am working with the publisher on my latest book, The Edible Quest. This enchanting two-part journey into the Magical Vitamin Kingdom is designed to inspire children to embrace healthy eating habits through the power of storytelling.
In The Edible Quest, twin sisters who dislike fruits and vegetables are whisked away to the magical Vita Water Vitamin World, where they meet talking fruits, vegetables, and other delightful characters who teach them about essential water-soluble vitamins. In Part Two, their adventure continues in Vita Gooey Vitamin Land, where they explore fat-soluble vitamins and teamwork. Through this captivating adventure, young readers learn about nutrition, friendship, and empathy, all while having fun. These books are appropriate for ages 10 and up and should be available on Amazon, Barn and Nobles and other online stores in the summer of 2025.
Inspiring healthy habits in children is about making learning enjoyable. Through engaging storytelling, kids can discover the magic of nutrition and make lifelong healthy choices!
I also other enjoy creative project like painting, writing poetry, and creating edible art.

Inna , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was born to help and educate, that is why I chose a career in healthcare. I have over 30 years of experience as a healthcare leader and educator, I take a holistic approach and put needs of patients/clients first; and that is my philosophy. I oversee Health Education Department at the major public hospital as my full time-job. There, I provide strategic leadership and oversee coordination of all education services and programs. I find common language with everyone by using my knowledge in human psychology and emotional intelligence. I feel passionate about my work and strives to find ways to improve and inspire.
I hold a Doctorate degree in Holistic healing, Master’s in Public health and Gerontology, Bachelor’s in Nutrition science, and I am a certified Life Coach.
I am also interested and understand children’s nutritional needs and how to present the knowledge. As a mother of twins who were once picky eaters, I know firsthand about the challenges parents face when encouraging healthy habits. So, I made it my mission to make nutrition approachable and fun, for kids and parents alike. I love to take complicated concepts and explain it at the simple level via magical adventure and memorable rhymes.
I am also a Wellness Consultant. I guide people on their journey of self-healing and personal growth. Whether they are looking to improve communication, get more organized, find spiritual balance, or tend to the emotional well-being, I offer compassionate support tailored to each person’s unique needs. How do you keep your team’s morale high?
A mark of a great leader is the ability to actively listen to their team, engage each member, and model the behavior they expect from others. A manager should be compassionate and understanding. It’s also important to know how to offer constructive criticism in a way that feels supportive and encouraging and more like mentoring than reprimanding. A strong leader finds the right approach for each individual, while ensuring that supervisory practices remain consistent across the team. Finally, being willing and able to work alongside your team is another key attribute of an effective manager.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Some people are process oriented, while others are goal oriented. I consider myself more goal oriented; I get excited about the prospect of seeing a finished product. However, with age, I have also learned to appreciate the process. For instance, when I write and especially when I rhyme, I feel a rush of excitement when I find one word that perfectly matches another, or when my colors align just right. In the end, I can’t help but feel proud as I gaze at my creation and think about sharing it with the people I love.
