I have a mobile manicure and pedicure business for individuals that are homebound and have difficulty getting around. I had a wonderful client in the Bartlett Tennessee area. When our paths crossed she was 98 years young. I would visit with her monthly to give her a manicure and hear her sweet precious laugh. Sadly we lost this amazing lady at 103 years young this year. I had the honor and privilege to be with her a couple of weeks before her passing. Every time our visit ended, I felt such an emotional and profound feeling, who gets to spend time with someone that age? How lucky was I. Cindy Longmire Read more>>

I started my journey in July 2016 with the bypass at 534lbs at the recommendation of my doctor. After getting some mobility, I started slow on exercise like walking a now go 6 days a week. My diet looked like keto but I found a balance with things I enjoy and being at a calorie deficiency. I’ve lost and gained weight my whole life because of food addiction. This go around I focused on the mental health and have been able to reach my goal and maintain. I’ve lost a total of 320lbs and currently sit at 12% body fat. Losing it was tough but maintaining is the battle. Read more>>

I am blessed to have so many impactful heartwarming stories in my career. Understanding that his time here is limited, he and his wife sold their home and decided to travel the world. The problem is that he had also been suffering from a chronic pain condition affecting his legs and feet for over 13 years and it started to greatly impact his ability to travel and enjoy his time with his wife during his last few years. He had seen numerous other doctors and tried almost everything. Read more>>

The difficult thing about being an instructor is that a student may train with you for years and then, just up and move or leave the school and you never hear from them again. Then you question did they get anything out of the school, were you able to help them at all? That brings me to when I was in Las Vegas with my husband checking in to our hotel and this lady kept staring at us and whispering to her friend. Finally she came up to us and said “are you the owners of the martial arts school in Burbank? We responded yes, At that point she broke down crying and explained how our school saved her son’s life. I got into training people because I wanted to help people. I have never seen myself working with clients who were wanting to be athletes or bodybuilders. My passion was always with people who never thought they were strong. Clients who had gone to other personal trainers and been told that they need to stop eating and run. Or women who were told that they needed to be skinny and not strong, people who want to be mobile and independent as they grow older. Read more>>
