We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Galit Ventura-Rozen. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Galit below.
Galit, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Everyday Woman was born out of a moment of global stillness—March 2020—when the world shut down, and uncertainty was everywhere. But in the middle of that chaos, we saw something powerful begin to emerge: women were craving connection, meaning, and a safe space to show up as their full selves. They weren’t just looking for more business tips or hustle hacks. They wanted to be seen. They wanted to be heard. They wanted to feel like they mattered.
That’s why my best friend and co-founder Angela Giles and I created a Facebook group, just to give women a space to gather. We had no idea what it would grow into. What began as a small online community has turned into a global movement—more than 34,000 women strong. We’ve now published over 10 collaborative books, featured more than 320 authors, and launched a TV network where women can amplify their voices even more. We offer programs so women can write their book and even help them publish them.
But our mission isn’t just about numbers. It’s deeply personal.
As a woman who spent decades building a business and navigating the expectations of success, I know how easy it is to silence your story—to believe you’re not ready, not enough, or not worthy of being seen. I also know the moment everything changes is when you own your truth and speak it out loud. That’s why our mission is to empower 10,000 women to share their stories and voices and make their mark in the world. Because every time a woman rises, she gives others permission to rise too.
It’s not just about writing books or launching brands. It’s about legacy. It’s about reclaiming our power, rewriting the rules, and reminding every woman that her voice has the power to change lives—including her own.
Everyday Woman is more than a business. It’s a calling. It’s the movement I wish existed when I needed it most—and now, I get to build it with thousands of women who are just as passionate about lifting others as they are about rising themselves.

Galit, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Galit Ventura-Rozen, passionate about women’s empowerment, a seasoned entrepreneur, and a dedicated community leader. My journey began at the age of 21 when I ventured into the world of commercial real estate. Over the past 28 years, I’ve successfully owned and operated Commercial Professionals, and sold over $700 million in commercial property.
Recognizing the challenges women face in business, I pursued a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy to better understand and support their unique needs. This led to the creation of Empowering U, where I offer corporate training, workshops, retreats, and professional speaking engagements aimed at fostering leadership, effective communication, and a success-oriented mindset among women.
In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, I co-founded Everyday Woman alongside Angela Giles. Our mission was clear: to build a supportive community that uplifts women in their personal and professional lives. Through Everyday Woman, we offer a variety of services, including:
Everyday Woman TV Network: Providing a platform for women to host their own shows, sharing stories and insights to inspire others.
She Story- a 6 month program for women to write their own books
Publishing for women self-help books.
Anthologies with over 350 women published in 10 books about their area of expertise
We also help women create their own anthologies for their own womens groups
Our community has grown to over 33,000 members, committed to supporting one another’s growth and success.
What sets me apart is my holistic approach to empowerment. I combine my extensive experience in business with a deep understanding of personal development to provide comprehensive support to women. I’m most proud of the tangible impact I’ve made—helping women break barriers, achieve their goals, and realize their full potential.
To anyone considering joining our community or seeking guidance in their journey, know that you’re not alone. At Everyday Woman, we believe in the power of unity, support, and shared growth. Together, we can achieve greatness.
While many of my friends were graduating college and preparing for job interviews, I realized I wanted something different. I didn’t want to wait for someone to give me an opportunity—I wanted to create one for myself. That desire for independence and drive to chart my own course led me to pursue a career in commercial real estate. I got licensed, dove in headfirst, and by the age of 24, I had opened my own commercial real estate company. It wasn’t always easy, but I was determined to build something on my own terms—and that decision changed the entire trajectory of my life and career.
I’m most proud of helping thousands of women believe in themselves enough to start their own businesses and step into entrepreneurship.
Women have left unfulfilling corporate jobs after working with me to pursue their passion and build something they love.
Through my coaching, programs, and platforms, I give women the tools, confidence, and community to take bold action toward their dreams.
My work empowers women to share their stories, especially through writing books that inspire, uplift, and create impact.
I’ve created spaces—like Everyday Woman and She Story—where women feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow their visibility and influence.
My mission is rooted in purpose: to make sure no woman ever feels like she has to do it alone.
I bring 28+ years of entrepreneurial experience, heartfelt mentorship, and real-life results to every woman I serve.
I lead with authenticity, speak from experience, and believe in showing women what’s truly possible when they bet on themselves.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was that success had to look a certain way—long hours, hustle without rest, and sacrificing myself to achieve my goals.
When I first started in commercial real estate in my early 20s, I thought I had to do it all alone. I believed that to be taken seriously, especially as a young woman in a male-dominated industry, I needed to outwork everyone else. I wore my stress and exhaustion like a badge of honor. I was building a business, closing deals, and checking every box that defined “success” from the outside—but inside, I was burnt out.
And to make things even more challenging, I started my business while I was pregnant. At one point, I had three children under the age of seven and was still pushing myself to be “superwoman”—running a business, managing a household, and trying to prove I could do it all without help. I didn’t yet understand that asking for support didn’t make me weak—it made me wise.
It took me years to realize that being successful doesn’t mean running yourself into the ground. I had to unlearn the belief that struggle equals worthiness. True success, I learned, comes from alignment—doing what you love, taking care of your well-being, and surrounding yourself with people who support your vision.
That’s part of why I’m so passionate about helping women now. I teach them that you can be wildly successful and have balance, joy, and purpose. You don’t have to hustle in silence or do it all on your own. That old mindset kept me stuck longer than it should have—but letting it go changed everything.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One story that truly illustrates my resilience happened early in my career when I decided to start my own commercial real estate company at just 24 years old. I wasn’t just navigating a new business at the time—I was also a new mom. I remember sitting at my desk with my six-week-old baby in a bouncer beside me, answering calls with one hand, typing with the other, and bouncing him with my foot to keep him calm. It wasn’t glamorous. It was messy, loud, and exhausting. But I had a vision of the life I wanted to build, and I was committed to making it happen—on my terms.
As my family grew, the chaos did, too. There was a season in my life when I had three children under seven, all while running a thriving real estate business. I constantly found myself pulled in different directions, trying to give my all to motherhood and entrepreneurship at the same time. I won’t pretend it was easy. Sometimes, I doubted myself, questioned whether I could keep all the balls in the air, and wondered if I was doing enough in any area of my life.
But what kept me going was my mindset. I learned to “level my waters”—a concept I write about in The Successful Woman’s Mindset. It’s the idea of shifting from stress and overwhelm to calm and clarity by intentionally grounding yourself in the moment. I realized that being resilient didn’t mean I never struggled. It meant I kept showing up. It meant I allowed myself to pivot, pause, and recommit when things got hard. I gave myself grace and focused on progress over perfection.
That chapter of my life shaped me into the woman I am today. It taught me that resilience isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about staying anchored in your purpose, finding strength in your “why,” and trusting yourself to keep moving forward—even when the path feels uncertain. I share that story because many women believe they must choose between being a great mom and a great businesswoman. I’m living proof that you don’t. You can be both and do it with heart, grit, and the right mindset.
