Alright, Siera thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The mission behind Prolean Personal Training has remained consistent for over a decade: to help people achieve lasting change through a clear, supportive, and effective fitness experience. While our core purpose has never wavered, the tools we use have evolved through years of hands on experience, trial and error, and a deep understanding of what truly works. One of the biggest challenges we see is that many people simply don’t know where to start when it comes to working out and eating well and this leads to frustration, burnout, or never even beginning the journey. At Prolean, our entire approach is built around our motto: “Simplifying Fitness Into Results.” We provide structured workouts, personalized nutrition plans, and powerful accountability through our 3D Styku body scanner. Together, these three components give our clients clarity, direction, and the confidence to achieve real, sustainable results.

Siera , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My professional journey began 15 years ago when I earned my degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics. Since then, I’ve held various positions in the field of nutrition, which eventually led me to pursue a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification and become a trainer.
I started my personal training career at a large gym, where I not only honed my sales skills but also learned valuable lessons on what to avoid as a business owner. One major shortcoming of the Big Box gym was its lack of focus on personalized nutrition and genuinely understanding each client beyond just making sales. After a year, I decided to branch out independently.
A year later, I opened my studio, Prolean Personal Training, which specializes in one-on-one personal training and small group personal training. We also provide our clients with homework workouts along with nutrition plans. Our 3D Body scanner is also one of a kind to Colorado, and provides our clients with trackable results. At Prolean, we design programs tailored to everyone’s lifestyle and teach clients how to integrate fitness into their daily routines rather than treating it as a temporary trend. I am proud of how my brand has evolved over the years and is providing amazing results to people.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most important lessons I’ve had to unlearn in both business and in myself is the belief that perfection exists—or that it should be the goal. For a long time, I chased this impossible standard, thinking everything needed to be flawless in order to succeed. But that mindset only led to burnout, self-doubt, and constant dissatisfaction. Perfection is an illusion, and trying to create it can take you down a dark and isolating path. What I’ve come to realize is that growth, progress, and authenticity are far more powerful. Some of the best things I’ve built in my business happened not because they were perfect, but because they were real, intentional, and driven by purpose.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My business partner is my husband and oh what a journey it has been! We have had to learn how to navigate our relationship through starting a business together. It has taken a lot of time and growth but we are now at a place where we learn from each other and help each other. This life wouldn’t be the same without him.
