We launched More Than The Vine in early 2024 with one goal: to make Oregon wine country feel more approachable, especially for our generation. Wine often feels exclusive or intimidating—but we wanted to change that by focusing on the people, stories, and experiences behind the bottle.
What started as a passion project—filming short videos during our weekend winery visits—quickly grew into a full-time business. Today, we collaborate with tourism boards, hospitality brands, and small businesses to create content that not only promotes travel but builds real community. For us, More Than The Vine isn’t just about wine—it’s about storytelling, connection, and making wine country feel like a place where everyone belongs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not smooth—but worth it. In the beginning, we were self-funding everything—from gear to travel—which brought on a lot of financial stress. Balancing full-time jobs while building this brand meant late nights, long weekends, and a lot of trial and error.
There were moments of doubt, missed opportunities, and feeling overlooked. Building trust with wineries and brands took time and patience. But every challenge taught us something, pushed us to grow, and ultimately made us more confident in our vision and our voice.
