Hi What’s Cookin’ NYC, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
WCP started after seeing very few entrepreneurs getting on podcasts to share their experiences and accomplishments. It started as a platform for just NYC but expanded to having guests from out of state to now even out of country.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Biggest struggles at first was creating the content ourselves on a tight budgeting as well as flexible scheduling.
As you know, we’re big fans of What’s Cookin’ NYC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
WCP doesn’t only highlight entrepreneurs, but business professionals and content creatives as well. We sponsor a networking event in Brooklyn called “Royal Connections”, and we tend to support a lot of local community events such as pop up shops.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the size and diversity of NYC but dislike the competition to it. Everyone tends to say NYC is the analogy of “crabs in a barrel”
