Hi Laura, thanks for joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.

As an esthetic instructor I had the opportunity to guide and mold young adults. I thrived in educating not just about skin care and business but also the whole person. Once my students graduated our relationship did not end there. I became the one they came to for life events, business decisions, and guidance. I underestimated the power of kindness, genuine care, and compassion. Each day, 11 hours a day, my teaching were not just steps to graduate but a foundation of how to keep life, true LIFE, the essence of your future.

Laura, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

As a young woman I struggled with confidence due to acne and deep insecurities. I stepped in to esthetic school and instantly fell in love. I found a place where I could be the leader, healer, and motivation for not just others but also myself. As I healed my skin, I also healed myself. I learned to research what works for me not what society told me. I also leaned into motivating other women just like me. I have experience in Luxury spa’s, privately owned, my own entrepreneurial ventures, and lastly social networking with a splash of empowerment. I would not be a proud woman if I did not recognize my shortcomings, my strengths, and my passion for leading the woman inside to greatness at her own speed. Have you ever had to pivot?

Becoming a mother and wife is the moment my career changed. I became a stronger entrepreneur with a fire of success underneath me. Through trials I found my balance. Work will always be there, but family is the real treasure.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My reputation in every room I step in remaining myself. I have spent too long discovering myself that I am too proud of this 5’1, talkative, enthusiastic, loud laugh, cries for everything, loving woman that I am not hiding her away from anyone.
