Andrew, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump back to the first dollar you earned as a creative? What can you share with us about how it happened?

First time I had earned money off of my videos was when CW reached out to me about creating a video to promote the new DC show Naomi. It felt so rewarding knowing that I was going to go forward and make something amazing especially for a comic book company

Andrew, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi, My name’s Andrew aka King Drew. I got into cosplaying via my passion for different video games and media I grew up with as a child. I provide voice overs, promotional material, as well as entertainment for others! I am most proud of the small community I’ve built up and the ways that I have improved in my video editing and videos I record of my cosplays. The main things I focus on is usually my passion for media such as anime or fighting games like Tekken, Street Fighter, Blazblue or Guilty Gear. If not that then I’m cosplaying my favorite characters while putting a little spin on it with a durag corresponding to the characters hair!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect is seeing your work and realizing you’re satisfied with what you have. Sure it may not be everyones cup of tea but being satisfied in your own work is an adrenaline rush like no other.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

The best way you can support them without having to use a cent is to let others know about whoever your favorite creator is. Whether it be through Discord, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, whatever you use! Spreading the word about them in your favorite internet forums is always how you can boost your favorite artist.
