Alright, Astrid thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is simple, but it comes from a deep place in my heart: I want to help families have more time to enjoy their hobbies and spend quality time together. In today’s world, we’re all rushing—juggling work, school, chores, and responsibilities. It’s easy to lose the little moments that matter most. Through my company, I hope to give families the chance to slow down, breathe, and truly enjoy their homes and their lives.
We take care of the home with great attention to detail—so our clients can focus on what really matters. Whether it’s sharing a meal, doing a hobby they love, or just having a peaceful moment, we want to give them that space and time.
But this mission is also about something very personal to me. I’m a woman from Paraguay, and I know what it means to work hard, to start over, and to dream big. That’s why a huge part of my mission is to support other hard working women—who are chasing their goals just like I did. My company creates respectful, stable jobs for these women, helping them grow, support their families, and reach their own version of success.
For me, this company is more than a business. It’s a way to bring care, dignity, and balance to both the families we serve and the women we employ. That’s what makes this mission so meaningful to me—and why I pour my heart into it every day.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Hi! I’m Astrid Matthias a proud Paraguayan woman, wife, and mom of two daughters, living in Connecticut. I started my home cleaning business 9 years ago, working hands-on in every part of the job—from cleaning homes myself to building strong, trusting relationships with clients. Over time, with a lot of hard work and heart, my small idea grew into a thriving business serving both residential and commercial clients.

Today, I manage a wonderful team of hardworking women who help me carry this mission forward every day. We offer high-quality, detailed cleaning services that go beyond just making a space look nice—we care for homes and businesses with love, professionalism, and deep respect. Whether it’s a cozy home or a busy office, our goal is to bring peace, cleanliness, and comfort to every space we touch.

What sets us apart is the heart behind what we do. We believe in empowering women, especially immigrants like myself, and we’re proud to give back by supporting missions in Africa. We treat every home like it’s our own and every client like family.

I’m most proud of how far we’ve come and the impact we’re making—both in our clients’ lives and in the lives of the women on our team. My business isn’t just about cleaning—it’s about creating opportunity, spreading kindness, and helping others live better, more peaceful lives.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

I’m proud to say that I still have my very first client from 9 years ago (Garceu’s Family) and that speaks volumes about how we build lasting relationships. The key to keeping in touch with our clients and fostering brand loyalty is listening. I make it a priority to always hear what each client needs and understand their unique expectations. Every family is different, and by truly listening to their preferences, we can tailor our services to fit their lives and create a home environment that brings them peace.

For me, loyalty isn’t just about providing a service—it’s about making every client feel heard, respected, and valued.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Several books have significantly influenced in my 2023 and 2024 entrepreneurial journey and management philosophy. One that stands out is Unbreakable: The Power of the Mind, which taught me about the power of resilience, mental strength, and maintaining a positive mindset in the face of challenges. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that the right mindset is crucial when navigating obstacles and pursuing success.

Another key resource is Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill. This book taught me to identify and overcome the limiting fears and doubts that hold us back, and to take control of my own destiny. Hill’s work, including many of his other books like Think and Grow Rich and The Law of Success, have been essential in shaping my entrepreneurial thinking.
